Registering with BookYourSite enables us to re-use your contact information each time you reserve a site with our booking system. Information like your address, membership information (eg. CAA/AAA), and your preferences for park amenities can be saved. In addition, after registering with BookYourSite you have the option of receiving promotional information from the parks about upcoming specials and events.
If you do not choose to pay the locking fee, the park reserves the right to place you on any site of the same type (or above). Customers are still able to make requests for areas of the park, but they are not guaranteed. If you are reserving as part of a group please indicate the names of all other families in your party in the "notes" area. We will keep all members of your party as close together as possible, given the park's availability at the time of your booking and site types chosen by the group members.

The Lock and Dam Regional Park at Coosa River Campground in Rome, Georgia is a Rome-Floyd Parks & Recreation Campground and Park.
We only accept VISA and MasterCard.
Our policy is that of a campground rather than a long-term RV park. Any reservations over fourteen (14) days must be approved by the Special Services Manager at Rome-Floyd County Parks & Recreation.
If you choose to make a reservation, a non-refundable reservation fee of $6.00 for campsites will be including in the total payable fees. Your credit card account will be charged at the time that the reservation is made. Please allow up to 24 hours for your reservation to be confirmed.
If you cancel your reservation, you will be assessed fees. The closer to your arrival date you cancel, the less money you will be refunded. Cancelling 15 days or more prior to arrival – Reservations fee $6.00 + Cancellation Fee $10 is applied. The use fees are refunded. Cancelling 14 days or less prior to arrival – Reservation Fee $6.00 + Cancellation Fee $10.00 + the use fee of the first night’s stay is applied. The remainder is refunded. To cancel a reservation, you must call the park at 706-234-5001 or 762-235-4071.
Check in time is between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Check out time for all campers is 11:00 a.m.
To protect Park resources, campsite occupancy is limited to the site you have paid for. Any vehicles or boats illegally parked will be towed at the expense of the guest. This includes any vehicles or boats parked in the grass or any other area that is not designated as a parking space or a camp site.
