| Nicest park but staff bitchy

Without question nicest park been in large sites and very clean...but some of the staff should retire, move to nursing home or become prison guards ..... Pissy attitudes and too strick on some of there so called rules....

Spotlessly clean, nice people and very large sites! Internet is satellite, which is not great, so bring your wi-fi hotspot with you. It's worth the trip from Massachusetts for us every year!

| Great vacation August 2017

1st time visiting. Stayed 3 nights for the eclipse. We got stuck in I95 traffic arrived after hrs, but Ann and her husband were kind enough to help us get settled even after closing. Overall, extremely friendly staff, very clean grounds, pool, facilities, and super large sites. Only input to fellow campers... GPS will take you on bad back roads. So, try to use manually map views to stay on main hwys such as 74, 410, and 9. We'll definitely be camping here again.

Gorgeous RV Resort! Landscape perfection! Awesome views of Lake. Beautiful clean pools. Management the Best!!! Spent week in June with family in RV. Will Return for longer visit. A true gem near North Myrtle Beach!!!

We did not stay at this resort. We've heard it is very nice. I found the staff rude and inflexible. Due to a family event, we canceled our reservation over 6 weeks in advance of our arrival date and was charged a $50 cancelation fee. I called to protest for a refund. The rep was friendly but without telling me transferred me to a "supervisor" who was rude and repeatedly cited a $50 charge policy. I asked to speak to a manager who was conveniently unavailable. I asked to have the manager call me. After my fourth call and message, I did hear from the manager. After we completed our business, he threatened I would never stay at this resort or any other in the area.

Nice campground. Worst management I have ever experienced. Absolutely have no clue how to talk to people and undoubtedly don't really care. Too bad such a nice place has to have such poor management

| Holiday Ramblings

We love it! This is our yearly two week Thanksgiving stay. We have camped on site #14; our favorite site but you'd be hard pressed to find a bad site. All sites are large with concrete patios and parking pads. Large grass "lawns" with excellent full hook ups. Two amenities that are lacking are cable and a decent wi-fi. The wi-fi is satellite and a very poor one at that. If I was Willow Tree I would refuse to pay for that mess. It's my understanding it is the only service available in the area. Nonetheless - poor! There is a paved walking path around the lake which is great for walking a dog, bike riding or golf carting. There are "dogipot" bags along the walking path for responsible dog owners that do their part to clean up after their pets. That being said, there are those that simply will not take responsibility no matter what. Amenities are many but not like a theme park. It's well away from the hustle and bustle of the Myrtle Beach area but easy to get to in about 10-15 minutes.

This resort surpasses any campground facility I have visited. The grounds are immaculate and the sites are huge. You literally have your own yard. There was great fishing and swimming in the lake. We saw kids catching large catfish just before dark. All sites are paved along with paved paths great for biking. The lake has an inflatable slide and trampoline that was fun. There are 2 pools, one for very young children that is a foot deep and another 5foot deep pool. Ping pong, pool table, Foosball are all located by the pool. Some lakefront sites have Jacuzzis on them, but it was too warm for that.

| Great Park/Huge Sites/Friendly Staff

This is a gorgeous park with beautiful landscaping & awesome lake. The entrance road is a half mile long before you get to the actual park/registration bldg and it's very pretty. The sites are beyond huge!! Largest sites I've ever seen. The layout of the park was well thought out with most sites getting some shade in the late afternoon heat. (We unfortunately had a site with hot sun all day long). I would stay clear of site 14 in the summer. I'm sure it's nice in the fall, winter & spring. If you stay in the summer most lakefront sites will offer no shade with the exception of sites 15 - 17 (17 is best site in the park). If you want to have shade & still have views of the lake any of the sites in the 30's or 40's are good. The pool & beach area are great for kids. Fun times on the lake blow up islands. Although the maintenance crew has to figure out how to turn the solar powered hot water heater off to the pool. It's a little warm in the heat of summer. (I'm sure it feels awesome during fall, winter & spring). As for the last review, below mine, where he mentions unfriendly mgmt/staff, this isn't true. They were extremely friendly & very helpful. I believe the gentleman that wrote that review had an issue with wearing the wristbands they make you wear while you're staying on property. He was rude in his conversation with the staff & deserved what he received. I'll be honest the wristbands aren't the greatest but rules are rules and we were fine with it for all 6 days we were there. My only slight complaint would be the golf cart rental is a little pricey compared to other locations ($50 a day). No big deal as having the cart helped since the park is good size (again with HUGE pull through sites). Plenty of places to fish. Path around the entire lake that is one mile in length. Good place, check it out!

| Nice Getaway!

Awesome 3 night getaway at this pretty lakeside resort! Largest sites I have experienced. Started with a lakefront pulling site. Awesome view, but no shade (heat index was 105+). Staff allowed us to move to a partially shaded long pull through. Although we did not tow, the pull through sites are long enough to leave your tow behind without unhooking. Walked the mile + trail around the lake in the morning. Visited the pool or lake in the afternoon. Lake was a favorite with the inflatables, catfish, and kayaking. Definitely will return!
