Williston Crossing

Stayed 2014-05-23 to 2014-05-26
We'll be back! Paved roads and large sites. Has a large but fairly shallow pool. There is a weight room and game room available but we didn't try them this trip. Friendly staff. We camped in Fifth Wheel.

Terrible customer service
By user-5687795... on 2017-10-23.
We went to this park to look at the facilities and consider staying there on 2 separate occasions. We were given inaccurate information at the desk on our first visit. When I spoke with the office manager on the phone, she was rude and offered us few options. When we went back to the desk on a second visit to look at other sites, we were again greeted with passive-aggressive attitudes. The management of this park is not customer friendly in any way. Beautiful facilities, not nice people!

I stay there for Winter Horse Show season. Immaculate. Every amenity & many activities for 55+. Super quiet. Very Friendly & super well managed. COULD HAPPILY RETIRE in Williston Crossings!

Best in area
By user-5444099... on 2017-10-23.
Have stayed here three times - a week, a month, and a year (10 months actual). We came for medical reasons in Gainesville, and it is just about perfect for that. Summers are very quiet, but winter is bustling. Extremely dog friendly, with new dog parks just added. Excellent maintenance throughout. Improvements continue. Corporate owned, so 11% price increase for next season. Long term rates stll a fair price. Daily rates not so much. We have full-timed for past four years and do not usually use resorts, but will return.

Nicest Park in Florida
By user-5777773... on 2017-10-23.
Has all the amenities, large lots and well planned out. Wifi worked great. Did not have any T-Mobile coverage. A Snowbirds paradise. Friendly staff and escorts helped you to your site. We stayed in a pull thru, sites were huge.

Fantastic Resort
By user-5780259... on 2017-10-23.
LARGE pull throughs. Restaurant on site for lunch, "the Grist Mill" open Monday - Saturday. Up-scale and super clean bath houses, two laundry rooms, big dog park, pickleball courts, pool, outdoor pavillion, short walking trail through the woods but you can enter the quarry and walk by the lakes.
A couple of good restaurants in town or take a 25 minute drive to Gainesville for any chain restaurant you could possibly want.
Nothing for kids to do here except play in the pool, no swingsets, no basketball, no video games.
Adult only during the snowbird season. TONS of activities during that time.
The ladies in the front office are terrific and they have escorts to lead you to your site and guide you while you're backing in.
Many "park models" as well as longterm residents. The sites and trailers are kept extremely nice as the park has a "ten year" rule and doesn't allow tents, pop-ups, truck campers or converted school buses. It is a resort, definitely not a "camp ground".
We stayed in a fifth wheel overlooking the lake.

Nice

Same as other reviews. Wifey gives it a 4. She says ac in bathroom's was insufficient and water pressure all over was weak.

Amazingly clean, but residential
By user-6376062... on 2017-10-23.
We spent the 4th of July weekend here with our family (including 2 little ones). The park was very clean, and we did have an escort to our site. We were told the site we booked had electrical issues and were placed in the back of the park away from everything, only to see a different RV there the next morning! There is nothing geared towards kids, and seems to be more for the "permanent" people who live there/ snowbirds. The entire park is lit up with lights on each site like you would find in a neighborhood. There are also no fires allowed on your actual site. It was a very beautiful, QUIET place, just not what we were looking for.

Five stars, clean, friendly, perfect
By user-6318512... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2015-11-01 to 2015-11-10
Found this park while searching in Ocala area. Very clean and super organized. Feels like a 5 star resort or an old time neighborhood. Great sites with concrete pads. Escorts who lead you to your site and help in parking. Definitely a lot of snowbirds and everyone says hello. Great place. Nice pool, dog park, groceries and gas less than a mile away. Some good restaurants nearby too. Try Angelina Mia for gluten free pizza!

Very Nice Resort
By anonymous-user on 2018-07-06.
Stayed 2018-05-20 to 2018-05-21
This is a very nice campground. Tons of shade, very nice club house / pool area. We had read many positive reviews and a couple people we know had stayed here. Our only regrets are that we only were here one night and it rained almost non-stop. But we'll look to come back for a longer period or a season.

Overpriced
By user-6091901... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-08-15 to 2018-08-16
This a beautiful park but at 60 for a back in and 75 for a pull through it is badly overpriced. We had stayed here twice before they jacked the price up, but we will not be back.

Very nice campground
By user-6336722... on 2019-08-09.
This was our second stay here. We really like the campground. But be aware THE POOL IS CLOSED UNTIL APPROX SEPT 2019. I was initially angry that no one mentioned this to me when I made my reservation on the phone, but when I scrolled down on their website they do state the pool is being rebuilt. Lesson learned.
