| Great value, worth the visit
New to the world of RVing, my family chose this campground as our pioneering voyage based upon the abundance of amenities (multiple pools, putt-putt course, zip line, and proximity to the beach). The campground did not fail to exceed our expectations. Though a little pricey, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The restrooms and pools were clean and well maintained. The WiFi worked well from our spot, and a trolley provided low cost transportation ($1 each way) to the pier and downtown, negating the need for a pull-behind with our coach. We are already exploring dates for our next adventure at Wild Acres!

There are few campgrounds and RV resorts in Maine that equal the sheer size of Wild Acres. Spanning 90 acres, Wild Acres is filled with beautiful lush trees and is only 1/5 mile from Old Orchard Beach. You can soak up the warm sun and cool, ocean breezes at the beach or try your luck in our stocked fishing pond. Walk our nature trails through the woods or enjoy our heated pools, playgrounds, miniature golf and so much more. We also have planned activities and all new themed weekends for families and guests of all ages! Get outside the resort to enjoy the best that Old Orchard Beach, ME and the surrounding cities have to offer such as Funtown Splashtown USA, Palace Playland, and local deep sea fishing excursions. Plus, you are foot steps away from the softest, sandy beach on the coast of Maine.
