Big back-in sites.

The girls in the office are super friendly and went out of their way to get me in to the last available spot for a last-minute stay over the weekend.
Site #82 is premier because of the large open area outside of your door. Beware of site #34...it accumulates standing water in the lightest of rain.
They are currently constructing a large bridge that will connect the adjoining park for trail access. The grass is beautiful and the water that meanders throughout the CG makes for a pretty setting.
All utilities are in top shape and there is upscale chain restaurants and shopping a few miles up the street in Noblesville. Definitely worth the drive off the beaten path.

Nice campground when the river does not flood.

Mostly modern RV sites and is really nice while we were there; yet stories signs of White River flooding were very evident. And while the campgrounds is on lower ground it is not that often that it floods.
We enjoyed our stay there very much, and the clubhouse, laundry, and restroom/showers were nice too. The staff are very friendly, and helpful, the camp has an opening and closing hours gated with pass key
We would not hesitate to recommend this park to anyone who enjoys camping and fishing or just wants to get away.

Host was very helpful

We just stayed overnight and arrived late. The sites are big back in but at night it was hard to manuver. The Host Steve, was very helpful and even helped us back in.
We were there during a huge thunderstorm and rain for hours (site 30) and only minimal water accumulation at the front of the site. We would stay again.
One downside is the wifi was too weak.

Nice County Park

This is better than a typical campground due to concrete pads, large sites, nice roads and scenic river setting. The campground is very auiet and family friendly. It is in serious need of a swiming pool. It would almost be a resort, if there was a pool. You can fish in the river or pond.

Nicest campground near Indy

This is actually the nicest campground we have found in the Indianapolis area. It is located on the White River – which, unfortunately, was chocolate when we were there as the river was high and muddy. There’s a lot to do. A nearby business rents canoes. They pick you up at the campground then you canoe back. There are miles of mixed-use hiking/biking/horseback riding trails. Koteewi park is just down the road where there is an aerial park and archery activities. For the most part, it was pretty quiet at least during the week. When you make the reservation, they take the deposit by credit card and charge a processing fee of about 1.5%. When you arrive at the campground, you have the option to pay for the remaining nights with cash or check to avoid another processing fee by using a credit card. This is a nonrefundable deposit. The interior roads are narrow and make for difficult maneuvering with larger RVs. There are also some very tight turns. To make matters more interesting, cars are parked in common grass areas which provide yet another obstacle to maneuver around. Trees could use some trimming as we got up close and personal with several attempting to get into our site. Many sites need a good trimming; however, some sites have no trees at all. The pad was level concrete, and wandering around the park we noticed they all varied in length and width. Our site was long enough for the MH and car by placing our rear tires at the very end of the pad. We hugged one side to avoid trees scraping the MH. There is a small strip of grass between sites and some have trees. There is presumably WII FI by the office but didn’t use it. Verizon had 4g and 2 bars so we used out hot spot. We could not get satellite due to trees. We would return but with our list of which sites suit big rigs better.

Nicest campground in the area.
By user-5096085... on 2019-08-09.
We have now stayed here 3 different times and we have been very pleased with the campground. We come here when we are in the area to see my wife's family. Very clean and well kept. Always seems busy, so if you want a reservation then do so early.

Old but nice park
By user-5328266... on 2019-08-09.
This looks like an older COE Park That has been upgraded by the county. Excessive rain can cause the White River to flood the park. They have cement pads that will accommodate big rigs but maneuvering room can be tight. Park is quiet. WiFi is spotty. There is a good walking/cycling trail that has a bridge across the river. Small mouth bass can be caught from the bank. Overall, a nice little park at a very reasonable price.

Great place to stay for a day or three!

Very nice spot, gravel back in with full hook up. Grounds are well maintained, we had a great site with a park like setting that extended our site. There is a creek with singing bullfrogs and a family of geese. Who
White River across the street. The Town of Cicero is very quaint and clean.
