Really nice level cement pads, electric only. Water available and dump station. Very quiet, with nice walking trails nearby.
The location is close to all of the conveniences, the park is located in a desirable demographic, and having a dog park attached makes up for the limited hookups (IMO). The CG is built on a spiral with the 50 amps mostly on the bottom and 30 amps on the interior and on top of the hill. There are a few water spigots throughout the park. The dump is located at the exit, but you will probably go around more than once to find a spot anyways. The pads are mostly level cement and there are BBQ stands and a Trex picnic table at each site. Toilets are near the playground (NO showers). The trees are maturing and provide a good deal of shade. The views, once unobstructed, are now littered with cookie-cutters...but you can still see the lake and trees. The roads are wide and paved with a few bumps. The three-acre dog park is located across the little lake and there is a bridge and path on the backside of the CG, or you can just walk up the road a bit. It is fenced on three sides and has some mucky ground around the lake, so prepare for dogs to get dirty. There are two farm gates (not a double-entry system) so hold on to your runners at the exits. The park is governed by the groundskeeper that lives at the entrance. There are rotating hosts and you register with them at the entrance. Although the sites are FCFS, if you know someone in town, they can come and pre-pay for your spot without your unit being there. (Isn't that called a reservation?) The park has a 14 day limit which enables them to get rid of undesirables. However, there are many guests that have been here for months that simply play musical sites. Locals occupy spaces for the entire season and rarely stay overnight, parking bikes outside to make it look as if they are there. The high school and the Sumtur Amphitheater is right next to the park. If you are lucky and get a site, you may get to enjoy a free concert.
We live super close but it's super convenient to camp here. No online reservation option but if you call they are always helpful.
