We had a great spot with shade. Staff is pleasant. Store is focused on being cute but lacking in essentials for campers. Over a mile from the nearest alternate store. There must be semi permanent spots in back since there is a fair amount of in-park traffic through the night and some of the vehicles are pretty loud.
We used this RV Park as a base to see Dinosaur National Monument and Flaming Gorge. We had a really nice, large site on the end (#22), which had a lawn outside our door. There really wasn't anything special about the place, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and the WiFi was pretty good. It also had an enclosed pet area. My only negative was the price... pretty expensive... but that's KOA!
The location is great. Close to town but not next to a busy road. However, there is a private mobile home park behind the KOA and there was a lot of traffic to and from the mobile home park going through the KOA at all hours of the day and night. The individual RV parking sites are quite nice with a concrete patio and a privacy screen and BBQ at every site. Nice touch. The restroom were clean, the store had a good verity of items to buy. Staff was nice. Gravel roads and parking. Lots of trees.
