Was reluctant to stay here because no reviews, however google rating was 4 star and proved to be right! We arrived after dark and the owner had told us previously to just pick a spot. It was a bit dark to navigate our motor home at night but the sites were large and spaced out and we got a creek/Brookside lot. Each site is all grass and large trees provide shade. No sewer hook up, but they had a dump station. Large mowed field where I ran my dog. I didn't use the bathrooms or the activity room but they looked very basic. It was wonderfully quiet, being out of the way; several miles off the highway and we felt very safe. The farm house (and office) had cows out back and some long term residents in shoddy trailers but they were well away from the main campground so we didn't mind. Overall we got a great night sleep, which is why we were there, but I would definitely come back and spend longer. It was absolutely beautiful to wake up in a farmland-type atmosphere and a refreshing change from the packed-in KOAs that we have stayed in.
This no frills campground was the perfect stop over for us. It was off country roads, between corn fields. The owners were very accommodating as we wanted an area without shade so we could pickup football on tv. She set us up out by ourselves, which was perfect. Site was level, grassy, had picnic table and fire ring. They had firewood to purchase, big bag for $7. Site included electric and waster, dump station available near office. We would definitely stay here again.
Our campground is located in historic Franklin County in the heart of Cumberland Valley. Campsites are located along a creek running through a picturesque meadow where two streams - Back Creek and Dennis Creek - come together, requiring a Twin Bridge. Located off the main traffic routes, campsites are quiet and relaxing, yet easily accessible by paved roads. Twin Bridge Family Campground is nestled in an area surrounded by farmland, conveniently only 1 mile away from Route 30.
