If you don't want to dry camp on Skyline Drive, this campground is near the Swift Run entrance. It has full hookups but no wifi. The campground has seen better days. It could use some repair and tree trimming. The longer term campers have some junky looking sites. The positives are the proximity to Skyline Drive and the big grassy area for dog walking around an adjoining fishing pond.
Has potential but needs a lot of work. The 2015 review is pretty accurate. You can get cell phone service 3 miles west. They are very close to a gas station/store/cafe that does have WiFi. I was impressed with the gas station they were a small store but did have a good assortment. I usually need milk and bananas for breakfast and they had both. Mowing the dandelions, new gravel and paint would increase the attractiveness.
