Sweltzer Creek Campground is only minutes away from Cultus Lake, yet miles away from the crowds. Come and enjoy our spacious campsites in a family atmosphere. The campsite is nestled between its namesake, the Sweltzer Creek and the Chilliwack River. This beautiful and natural hideaway that is sheltered by large, old Cedar Trees. The Sweltzer Creek flows through the campground, providing creekside camping sites. Sweltzer Creek Campground is family oriented with plenty of room for your children to run and play. A brand new playground is located on the grassy area and is fenced in for your child’s safety. Campers may also play recreational games in this area. Ask our staff about the equipment available to our guests. Throughout the camping season, we are offering our campers a unique opportunity to hands-on learning about local First Nations crafts and culture. Our local artists will conduct workshops such as: Cedar roses, wristbands, headbands, wood carvings, stories, local history, salmon barbeques and traditional ceremonies. The washrooms are brand new and clean, clean, clean! Our showers are token-operated with electric hand dryers and wheelchair accessible. Relax and rest in a calm and peaceful environment while you enjoy our day-picnicking areas, spacious sites beside the man-made lake, all built with the family in mind. You will want to come back again and again!
