Stayed here in a 36' fifth wheel . Nice pull-thru paved site with WiFi , 50 amp , sewer and etc. no cable but good antenna reception. Owners are very nice and helpful. Restroom/ showers are very clean. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Would certainly stay here again if in area.
Sunset is a nice looking park with trees, grass, and flowers. The Blue Bonnets were blooming when we were there. We never met or saw the owners. There was an envelope on door with instructions to our site and info about the park. The best way we found to communicate with them was by email. The park is mostly long term but the sites were all neat and tidy. The spacing between sites varied from very spacious to nearby. Our gravel site was plenty long enough for the motorhome and tow. It was level front to back but not side to side. Our DS tires were just off the ground. Interior roads can be a little tight maneuvering in larger RVs but doable. The WII FI didn t work we could connect but almost immediately kicked off. Directv worked fine in our site but it wouldn t be possible in all sites due to trees. Verizon was 4g 4-5 bars which was great as we used our hot spots to get on the internet. It is quiet at night but traffic noise starts up early on Hamilton Pool road and continues all day. The park is about 25 minutes to Austin. There is tons of traffic no matter what time of day. There is a mall about 10 minutes away. We truly enjoyed Austin. We expected another flat, dry Texas town but Austin is the opposite. A very nice surprise! There are no lack of restaurants to choose from we fit in as many as we could. There are also lots of parks around and opportunities to get on the water abound.
