Very long sites, paved roads, many hiking trails. Learned a lot at the museum, saw Christmas lights being readied/tested for the Christmas festival in December, visited the craft village and learned from the artisans how their products are made. Check their calendar of events. We already booked for the music festival in March. Very southern, quiet and peaceful. Carillon plays Stephen Foster melodies on the hour during daytime.

| Campground is great. Park needs attention.

It is conveniently located just off of I-75, but it is far enough away that there s very little noise from I-75 to be heard at the park. It is a beautiful park with tall pines and live oaks. The bell tower, though still in need of some repair, did play while we were here. Coin operated washers and dryers. $1.00 per wash and per dry. The cheapest we ve seen so far. The campground was easy to maneuver. We enjoyed exploring the park and the museums, and overall had a relaxing stay. CoxFamilyTravels

| Nice camp sites

Stayed here twice this summer. Once on the way north just for an over night. Didn t even have to un couple the rig because the site was so level. Decided to stop again on the way back because we liked the camp grounds and the people. Stayed a week.

Wonderful campground! Big spacious lots, clean restrooms, hot showers with overhead heat lamps. Plenty to see and do within the campground. Excellent museum dedicated to Stephen Foster and his works as an American songwriter.
