South Llano River RV is wonderful!
By user-5655157... on 2017-10-23.
We enjoyed our stay here so much. Facilities are outstanding and staff is friendly and helpful. It's a new camp and still growing. If in the area cruising I-10 you need to check this jewel out.

Great, undiscovered Park right on the river

Just an overnight stay, but this is a great park. Same owners as North Llano. Park is 2 years old and is in great shape. Park managers are very friendly. Late night checkin very easy. Pull thru slots. Right on the river, great area to walk your dog. Great fishing spots and large sandbars for swimming... we paid via internet special $35/night. Restrooms and showers very clean, private and lots of space. Internet service good but not blazing speeds, Verizon has virtually no signal for cells but other carriers are fine. We plan on returning for extended stay and fishing....highly recommend

Family Gathering

First time at this spot and it's nice. Close proximity to the river. Easy access and within a few miles of truck stops in case fuel or air is needed. The property is nice and quiet. Pull through spots are spacious with tall shade trees at most. Several buddy spots for those camping in a group. They offer cabin rentals and their public bathroom and shower facilities are nice. Each restroom includes sink, toilet, shower and dressing area all in one room for privacy. Golf cart rentals available also. They have a banquet area for large group gatherings available for rent with restrooms, tables/chairs and full kitchen. Great for family reunions. Staff are very nice. Likely to see some wildlife. Overall it was a great visit. Good Sam location. They will collect bagged trash at your site. Cable, electric(50 amp ), sewer access. Worth the stay.

Beautiful views. The staff is friendly and helpful. Modern FHU (not sure why someone said just water and electric). The WiFi is good. The private bathrooms are awesome and extremely clean. The cabins look great, might have to give one a try next time!

Best option in town!

I stayed here instead of the other park in town that I stayed at last time. What a great decision! The owner and young lady in the office met me outside and greeted me, even let me pick the site I wanted since it was a weekday and it wasn't busy. All the staff members were so nice! The bath house is the best I've seen! Perfectly clean and individual full size bathrooms for complete privacy! Nice big shade trees, beautiful landscaping, they have 2 dog areas, the WiFi was excellent, free cable was a major bonus, the river was very peaceful, heck, they even picked up my trash at my site! I can't say enough. After a disappointing stay at another park in town a few months ago, my faith is restored and I will definitely be back!

Charming, Wonderful Stay!
By user-5260068... on 2019-08-09.
We stayed here for one night during a 5 week trip. We drove in and were greeted by our very friendly hosts, Linda and Ellen. They helped us choose the perfect spot for us and our not so dog friendly 15.5 year old lab, Millie. We had a beautiful view of the river and we had a majestic tree above our campsite. We watched the sunset from a pinic table next to the river. The bath house bathrooms were large and perfectly clean. We had a peaceful, quiet and beautiful stay at this little gem. They also have beautiful camping cabins here. We just may need to find a reason to comeback and stay in a cabin too! This is what camping should be! Highly recommended by the Thomas family!!

Best stop around!
By user-6111146... on 2019-08-09.
The park suffered serious flood damage. BUT! Bathrooms are great, WiFi everywhere, right on the River, beautiful views! Cabins are open. Technically the park isn't open but it's running on donations, $20 a night best stop ya ever made!

Very nice place with friendly host.Had a nice spot under the trees with W/E/S near the waterfront . Internet was good and cellular phone was working. Payed only $ 25,00.
People need to be supported to build up the damaged part of the park.

Although we didn t actually spend the night, the campground was beautiful and clean. The owner upon registering told us they had no WiFi or cable due to recent storms. She escorted us to a nearby by campground and got us an extra $2 discount at the second campground! Owners service went above and beyond. We will try again next time through!
