Port in the storm

We called this Walmart and the assistant manager answered the phone. She said it would be fine to park along the fence on the south side of the parking lot. She was very cordial.
Everything was great until a few minutes later when the wind came up. It has to be like 50 to 60 mph! I hope it doesn't blow over our truck camper...but other than being windy, this is a fine place to park for the night. Thanks RV Parky!

Just Okay

Spent the day and night here. Everything was okay except for... Interruption in sleep by heavy wind. The Weather Channel gave a Wind Alert. Coincidence that the last review also had a windy stay at this Walmart. Must be a common thing here.

Called the manager who said it was no problem to stay overnight and directed us to park near the garden center. Location is close to many food options and as an added bonus they have free wifi that we were able to use while parked. No crazy wind at all (both reviews below stated there was) and it was very quiet and peaceful. A great find if you're in the area for the night.

Nice Stop, Nice Wal-Mart

We spent the night while waiting for a package to be delivered to the local post office. It was quite and only 1 other RV there. Wal-Mart is very well stocked with many items others don't carry.

Good spot

Had a restful, undisturbed sleep. Big parking lot in small town between Roswell and Forth Worth /Dallas. Would recommend.

Nice site, some road noise

At customer service, they asked us to park near the garden center. The store and lot are clean. The lot itself was quiet overnight, but there was a fair amount of road noise from nearby streets by 5:30 AM.

Stopped here around 2:15 p.m..No other RV'S here. Did some shopping, and asked an assistant manager if it was OK to park for the nite over by the garden center. Stated yes, ok. Very nice, very clean Super Walmart. Unhitched the toad, and went into town for gas. Wife went to a quilt shop. Found a pizza buffet next door to Pizza Hut. Ordered a pizza, as buffet looked a bit dry. Great salad bar. Had a good nites sleep. Nice stopover, easy to find. Wind was strong in the morning, very cloudy all over. Thunderstorms predicted. Decided to sit out another day in this spot staying 2 nites. Late in the evening, heard voices outside our rig. Wal-Mart employees picking up trash.

Very peaceful rest. Stayed on a Friday night and only a few time of car noise. Stayed on the left side of the lot and not too many other RV s there that night. A bit off the main highway though but still accessible. Just need to drive a few miles to get back onto the interstate. Spent $124.72 in their store as my thanks to thier hospitality of letting us stay there. Will stay again if in the area.
