Awesome park, sites are wooded and remote. Private sites most with direct lake access with loads of wildlife. 50 amp and water, no waste hookup. Dump station available on property. No Wi-Fi or cable but many TV channels available with antenna. Loads of wildlife. Rustic. Would stay here again!
We camped here some years ago when the Corp of Engineers owned the park and it was well kept. New private owners do not appear to be doing any maintenance so it is in sore need of attention. But, most of the sites have spectacular lake views! Water and 50 amp electric (bring adapter for 30 amp), dump station is easily accessible. Sites are about $43 per night.
This place is very nice. The entire campground is wooded, plenty of space between lots, water view or waterfront lots are everywhere. The lots are paved not always fully level but close enough to make it easy to get level. They do not have sewer connections at each site but have a nice easy dump station on the main road in/out. Our site was very good but the water connection leaked so I simply filled our tank and ran off of it. For sheer beauty I give this place a 5, for facilities I give it a 3.5, so overall a 4. I will return here again.
