Nice sites well spread out. Passport members get sites at 50% ($21.50) discount. The lake is great with good fishing and reasonably close to major shopping for the wives.

This is one of the best sites we have been to in ga and al. The sites are not side by side and have great lake front views and swimming access. Good fishing of the banks. Deer all over the park. Sites are getting neglected by owners; steps are tripping hazard and poor maintenance of bath houses. If the owners gave a rats patut this would be the best site for many many miles around

I have camped at hundreds of different camp sites all over the United States. 27 states this year alone. I travel both for pleasure and for my business and when I travel for my business I stay in my fifth wheel. I was in a situation where I had to keep my fifth wheel Somewhere over the weekend since I was visiting family. I did not want to take the fifth wheel with me. I found this cheap Campground park it for 2-3 days until I got back. When I got back I checked out the campground extensively. It looks like a state campground. Very well organized and lots of money put into it. But it is not... for a private Campground this is by far the nicest Campground I've ever seen. These people know how to do it right. The camper sites are so spaced out deep deep in the woods that you can not see your neighbor. Even with some Screaming kids you can barely hear them either. It has a nice playground for kids as well as a few beaches. Lots of Wildlife. This evening alone I saw 7 dear. Nice bathrooms for tenters. Each campsite has a place to park the vehicle... a pad for the camper... And a pad for the picnic table fire ring and actual campsite. Not many sites can you set up camp underneath the awning of your camper. But the nice set up around the campground overcomes that easily. There's no doubt about it... I am a picky person but If I could score this on a 1-1000 I would give it a 995.

| Nobody answers the phone

We have stayed here several times. Trying to get a reservation is our biggest issue. I called 4 times a day for several days and could get no answer. I left a message on the machine as instructed to do by their answering service, no call back ever came. I had a family member who lives in the area also try to call, no answer over several days of trying. He finally went over to the office and got us a reservation. When I checked in I asked if they were having issues with the phones. I was told no, there was one person in the office and she said she was very busy. I attempted to call while I was standing there, their phone did not ring??? I asked her to verify that I had the correct number and she said yes I did. She looked at her phone and said it was ringing but she had the volume turned down. I asked why I did not get a call back from the message I left and she said they don't do that. Why have a recording telling you to leave a detailed message if they are not going to even listen and respond? I don't understand how anyone can get a reservation unless you actually go to the park with this type of service. I will go back only because it is close to family and I actually like the wooded feel of the park but it is very frustrating when the office doesn't seem to want to take reservation calls.

Great little campground just north of Atlanta. Very rustic with lake views
