Clean, friendly and has great activities
| Avoid This Park!
I have never written a review of a park until now. This park has numerous brown outs, numerous water outages(with no warning), narrow terribly damaged roads and poor drainage. We were charged $2 each package they received for us without first informing us of the charge. The reason for this, however, is because the delivery services refuse to try to navigate the small, damaged roads. The owner and manager(owners daughter-who refused to give me her name) are very rude, uncaring and unkind. We are retired military and feel we deserved respect which was not given. Many more reasons, but just do yourself, your family, your pocketbook and your peace of mind a favor and avoid this park.
| Great pool
Nice little park. They have a great pool and a large laundry room. There do have many activities though mostly geared towards mature adults. Half the park is older and has a lot of old permanent rvs with tight roads. Heads up if you are expecting packages you will be charged $2 each. The bathrooms are dated and you may experience some electrical outages.

Unlike many other RV and tenting areas, Shady Acres is constructed within Mother Nature's natural environment. We understand everyday life can be hectic, and the importance of escaping to a quiet and relaxing environment. Our palm, oak and cypress trees provide shady areas in which to relax and enjoy those feelings. Peace and solitude are exactly what so many of us are looking for. Adding to the picturesque setting, you could see ducks, raccoons, squirrels, turkeys, armadillos, and other wildlife that decide to pay an occasional visit. Within the park we offer numerous activities from horseshoes to pool parties, dances to karaoke, shuffleboard to fashion shows, bingo to card parties. If by chance any of those do not strike your interest, road trips are also arranged to local casinos and area attractions. Since we are conveniently located between Ft. Myers and Naples, we are certain that you will find plenty to do. From all of us here at Shady Acres, it is our hope that we will have the pleasure of seeing you here soon in sunny Florida.
