We stayed in Eastport to visit friends and go to Campobello Island. This park is right on the Bay and the location couldn't be better. The internet was by the hour, really! Our Verizon phones and Hot Spot didn't work in Eastport but we didn't come for the technology. We stayed for 3 nights $171 including taxes and while that was a little steep the location made it okay. 30amp, water and sewer were okay. TV reception was terrible but again THE VIEW! Laundry was a joke but the only place in town so we made do. Again, we don't stay for the park, we stay for the location and this one was great.
Fantastic views of Passamaquatty Bay from many of the sites. Bar and restaurant on site. Friday night pot luck is fun. We were here in 2011 and had to come back. Owners very friendly. They also got us lobsters for a great price.
Nice campground with great views of the water from some sites. Hosts are super nice, bathrooms and showers clean but small, small laundry. Excellent food at restaurant on site - The Old Sow. Reasonable prices. Don't mistake Eastport for closest town to Campobello though. The bridge to Campobello is at Lubec.
Step back in time and visit the old seaport of Eastport, Maine. Enjoy Mother Nature at her finest as you enjoy the sunrise, and view the whales and eagles right from your window. Park your rig in one of our sites, or rent a cabin or a room in our motel. With a restaurant on site you can enjoy the freshest and finest seafood this side of the boarder.
