this place is a joke the owner doesn't care aboyt anything but the money he hired a new park manager who thinks hes able to do anything he pleases even threatens to beat up campers hes an ex Pittsburgh cop with a god complex he is toxic to the park I would never camp there again

camped here for over 20 years. Finally had enough and sold. If you like to stay up all night, drink, listen to loud music, golf carts all the time day or night. Kids running around on them all the time. Many accidents, can't even walk on roads because there is so much golf cart traffic. Not a good place to enjoy a nice quiet weekend. If you like to party this campground is for you.

It would be nice if the owner Gary would put the camp goers money back into the place instead of UP HIS NOSE! Also would be nice if he would stop playing favorites with certain people and realize some of the stuff that goes on here, but he's just worried about powdering his nose and sneaking to other campers to cheat on his woman!

campground needs much attention from the owner..
Inside the pool area needs to be finished....all summer
left with hole in the ground, where children can fall
into...fence has a huge hole in it. Dirt from hole in ground is going into the kiddie pool...
laundry rooms need to be enclosed and cleaned, daily as well as the bathrooms.
some sites needs attention, as far as grass cutting and
general cleaning up...this is where management needs to get involved.
Many children are driving golf carts that are not even old enough all day long.
Rec Hall needs to be cleaned up badly.....
The owner needs to take ownership and enforce the rules, the park would become a very nice place to be.
Its a shame alot of nice people, but there are some
that are making the place have a bad name. It is a shame the campground has alot to offer, but is being neglected badly....could be a great place.
Please management fix it..............

I USED TO CAMP HERE AS A KID, RETURNED TO VISIT A FRIEND THAT HAS A PERMANENT SITE. THEY ARE RIGHT THIS PLACE IS A DUMP. VERY RUN DOWN. OWNER(S)ARE BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. TAKING CAMPERS MONEY AND NOT KEEPING THE PLACE CLEAN AND IN GOOD REPAIR. LOTS OF RUMORS GOING AROUND ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO OWN THE PLACE. MY FRIENDS ARE SELLING THEIR CAMP. I GAVE THIS PLACE A -10.

I have been at this campground for many years (1992-2016).
Only reason I am not leaving is because of my parents. The owner doesn't seem to care anymore. This place used to be full of childrens activities, nicely kept, ect. But now, kids are driving golf carts, the pool never gets clean enough to swim til late summer, the same boring DJ's every weekend, pool sprinkler has been down for 10yrs, bathrooms are worse than port a potties, lake is absolutely horrible now for fishing unless you want debris. I suggest not coming to this campground til the owner gets his hand out his butt and use them to fix this place!

This place has gone down hill. Anyone and everyone can camp here. Young kids, and I mean young are driving golf carts with sometimes 6&7 kids piled on. There are rules in the leases prohibiting this, but the owner never enforces any rules. The kids activity area hasnt been cleaned or maintained in years. Its dirty and broken. The permanent campers actually hold 50/50 raffles to collect money to make upgrades throughout the park because the owner wont do it. Empty lots arent taken care of. The sand volleyball court hasnt been maintained, its a giant litter box for stray cats. The baseball field is non exsistent anymore. No one is held accountable for anything that happens there. The owner allows and promotes a company to run heavy equipment around the site at all hours. It looks and sounds like a junkyard. Spend a little extra money and go to Mountain Pines or another nicer campground.

This is a very nice campground. Mostly permanent campers with a few passing through. Over the last 2 years the campground has been cleaned up and updated by the owners. The Management has really step up to the plate to get away from the bad reputation this campground had and is doing a great job of cleaning it out and up! Many new activities have been offered and campground also offer co-pay for lots of out of park activities which is wonderful if you have children! There are alot of negative comments on other sites that are years old. I can tell you as of Septemeber 2015 this place has really pulled it together!
