| Traditonal KOA...... smaller lots

By user-6263071... on 2018-06-27. Stayed 2017-09-19 to 2017-09-20

Stayed on lot# 45 with our class A, towing car. Golf-cart escort lead us to site with ease. If some don't have experience operating larger vehicles the roads may seem tight, however I found them navigable. WI-FI was listed on KOA app, yet upon arrival its listed as "Free and not guaranteed" had a few dropped connections. Willing to consider staying again

| Felling Cheated by the KOA Sault Ste Marie, ON

By user-4544281... on 2018-06-27. Stayed 2017-09-19 to 2017-09-21

Booked a two overnight stay at this campground Sep. 19-20. with a Pull Thru,50 Amp,full hookups! Asked for a third night upon arrival but could not accommodate me at this site, which was no big deal! Took me to site 24. I am supposed to be able to turn and pull thru the site. Took one look at this site and no way I could turn my truck and 35 fifth wheel (over 55 foot in length) thru this site without crashing through the travel trailer next to me. The owner came out and told me I had plenty of room. Total nonsense! A asked for a 30 Amp electric and water site which was a downgrade but with plenty of room and we could stay for a third night without moving. We went and set up and the attendant brought the new paperwork to our new site. My wife ask where was the credit as the newer site was $11.00 cheaper a night. Owner refused saying we booked a Pull thru 50 Amp electric and water full hookups and we were going to pay for it. To add insult to injury as my wife took a walking later that night and he rented out that same site to a smaller trailer. The next night I took a walk and he rented that site to a second couple from Ontario who I spoke to. The new renter said his trailer was over 5 feet shorter than mine and only he had 2 " of clearance getting by the trailer next door. Owner of this campground double dipped on his payment for this site and should at the very least reimbursed me. This is not about the money but the principle of being cheated. I have been in KOA campgrounds exclusively since I left Missouri on Labor Day weekend, but no more! I as the owner of the truck and Fifth wheel have the right not to be put into a situation where damage could occur to my equipment or ourselves. If I had been in the USA I would be filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General of the State! I will follow this complaint up with Corporate Offices of KOA!

Stayed 3 nights. Our first KOA, we're very impressed. Nice site, water and electric. A bit pricy, but worth it. Enjoyed the pool. Wifi was great
