This is a very nice park. The office staff is helpful, many pull thru spots, full hookups and wifi, a small gift store, the bathrooms & showers are very clean.
By user-5801025... on 2017-10-23.
This camp is in a beautiful place high on a hill. Nice gravel sites...a bit close but there is sometimes some greenery. FHU and Good Sam's discount. Only one set of bathrooms and they are at the office building...but they are excellent (thank you for having seats in the showers). Laundry is also at office but is very nice with plenty of machines...no coins only credit cards! Lovely dog park and excellent walk surrounding the camp. There are a ton of scultures and antique trucks around the camp....really nice to have them all labeled. All that said...to be a 5 star park in my book...you need cable tv and a decent wifi. If you are lucky you might get one TV channel over the air..that is not a concern to the class A guys with satellite...but it is to us little guys. Their WiFi is iffy at best..keeps kicking you off...going in and out. I had to pay to increase our cell data while we were here for 4 nights because the wifi was useless. For this amount of money you should have cable and a decent wifi.

I dont know why this park deserves anything less than a 5star! Immaculate bathrooms, beautiful vistas and quiet for being so close to the freeway. Yes some spots arent level but name 1 park where that doesnt happen. Very nice experience!

Only complaint is the cost...a little pricey @ $45 w/God Sams discount.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice facilities. Very clean bathroom and showers. Well landscaped. Like your neighbors as the spots are close together. On top of ridge and very windy. Don't use you awning without being right there and have tie downs! Paid $50.

Great park with wide level gravel sites, lots of room between back in sites, great Wi-Fi and very helpful and caring staff. Wide interior roads.

Santa Fe Skies RV Campground is a convenient location. The park sits high on a hill with beautiful views of the mountains around you. If you are not fortunate to get a site near the office you will find the spaces narrow and uneven. It was near impossible to level our RV. The small concrete patio will be of little use if you and your neighbor have slide outs. The patios are covered with red dirt that has been beaten hard from runoff, wind and sun. Would be nice if the patios were blown or swept clean before guests arrive. There is no trash pick up. The staff office is friendly. There is a nice gravel loop around the park to exercise your pet with bags and disposal drops, as well as an off leash dog park. The laundry is clean and there is a patio for gatherings. Interesting up cycled equipment parts made into art are scattered around the area. The wi-fi is adequate but slower as more usage happens in the evening.

They had a off leash dog run area. That's big in my book. Clean, very helpful and friendly at front desk. We were in the very back overlooking Santa Fe which was a good site. We had no trouble leveling. We had tons of rain and wind but we enjoyed Santa Fe a lot. Love to go back with some good weather.
By user-5794282... on 2017-10-23.
We enjoy coming to Santa Fe at Christmas time and this is an excellent place to stay. Right off I-25, full hookups, friendly staff, and our dog loves watching all of the cottontails hopping around the park.

Not much to say. Gravel, not level, but ok for one night before we got to Trailer Ranch
By user-6274033... on 2017-10-23.
Staff very friendly, wyfy very good cuts out sometimes but comes back in short time. Have pull threw site view of the valley beautiful. Level sites and nice concrete patio with table and bench. Bathroom and showers spotless. It bite on the pricey side. But I will surely come back
By user-4791368... on 2017-10-23.
The positives... good hookups and nice view (over some urban sprawl). Not too far from the center of Santa Fe (southwest of town and south of 25). Easy access from I-25. Owner pleasant. The negatives...I don't understand why this site is rated so high. Next time I would drive on. Windy, gravel site site with some long residents. Entrance roadway from highway is littered with trash and the local neighbors do not maintain their properties. No place to get in a decent run or walk unless you want to do it along some open highway roads or sketchy areas.
By user-5792329... on 2017-10-23.
This is a very well laid RV park. The restrooms store and office are probably some of the nicest ones we have ever seen. The staff is very efficient and extremely friendly. The sites are hard level gravel and separated by dirt that has wildflowers growing in it. Each site has their own small concrete patio with a picnic table and chairs. We will definitely be back for another stay in the future.
By user-6389031... on 2017-10-23.
This park is very well kept. The outside areas are typical of the Santa Fe area (open and brown desert type scenery) with mountains visible in the distance. The restrooms and shower area are extra clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return for a longer stay.
By user-5241279... on 2017-10-23.
Level sites... good hookups and nice view (a bit windy because of the location and altitude). Not too far from the center of Santa Fe (southwest of town and south of 25). Easy access from I-25. Owner was pleasant and helpful.. Clean showers and bathrooms well kept. Short walking trail has some nice views.

We made a good decision staying at Santa Fe Skies RV Park this June. The experience was relaxing and pleasant with no real issues. It is a family run business, and everyone is nice and accommodating. The owner, John, is a living, talking history book of the Santa Fe area. Take time to meet with him. The sites are gravel and level with nice concrete patios. Ours was 100 feet with nice wrought iron table and chairs. The main building: office, coffee area, book store, mail center, dance floor, kitchen was as nice as any place I have been in. The shower/restrooms and laundry are beautiful and super clean. The only cons: a little pricey ($46 with Good Sams/AAA) and weak shower pressure.

I'm somewhat biased because we loved Santa Fe! The park sits on top of a hill and has a great view of the city. It is very quiet in this park, with only the daily march of travelers coming and going interrupting the silence. The spaces are a decent size and the restrooms/showers are very nice and clean. Great walking path around the park. The WiFi is okay, except during the afternoon. There is no cable or pool. The laundry room is okay, but kind of small for this size park.
By user-5821122... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-06-11 to 2016-06-20
The main interior road is paved, the rest are gravel, including the sites. There is a fair amount of room between sites, but the sites could be more level. Hilltop location makes for some nice views, but also can be a very windy and dusty location. The park is mostly big rig friendly with good power, but the water pressure was a little low. The restrooms/showers were clean, but a little dated in appearance.
By user-5830638... on 2017-10-23.
This park is a nice stop if its on your travel route clean but 49.00 a night is a little high . large bath house and showers Free wifi (slow speeds tho) all gravel a lot of pull thur sites with 50amp sewer and water.( water pressure is a little low for my tast. Staff is friendly free coffee in the morning and a small store with snacks. Lots of wind cant use your awnings much. Lots off full timers
By user-5224238... on 2017-10-23.
Just far enough away from road noise, close enough to shopping, food, tourist attractions. Great bathrooms, some big pull throughs, good cell reception. Good full hookups, easy to manoeuvre around. Highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights at Santa Fe Skies RV Park and found that is satisfied our needs very well. It's not a resort but it is a well-maintained RV park. Our pull-through site was easy to access and was plenty long enough for our 40' 5er and tow vehicle. The pull-through was on hard gravel but there was a large concrete patio between us and our neighbors. We had plenty of room to open our slides and awnings. The restroom was spotless. The campground is family-owned and operated and their pride of ownership shows. We would return.

The staff is very friendly. The sites are level. Far enough from major roads so it's fairly quiet. It's very close to town and many other places that are an hour or so away. We are definitely going back. We camped there in a travel trailer.

This place was like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. . After a long rainy day of driving this was the perfect place to spend the night. . Found a nice pull through. . Hot showers. Too tired for Tango Tuesdays.
By user-5850812... on 2017-10-23.
FYI. $55 (yes that's with Good Sam discount) for back-in with no sewer. Gave wrong space number, drove round tight narrow places for 10 minutes before going back to office. Got profuse apology and another space.. Biggest complaint was when he picked his nose while processing my card..

A beautiful high desert park! Gorgeous sunsets and vistas. Very clean & well maintained. The bathrooms are spacious & spotless. Very dog friendly having both trails and a fenced dog park area. Easy access off 25 yet very quiet with no road noise. Highly recommend!

We have stayed here multiple times. Like that it is out of town and up on a hill where the night views and sunsets are gorgeous! Love that they have kept the old machinery on site and now have labeled it. They have done a lot of landscaping and work on sites over the yrs. The walking path was nice and clean and an extra bonus for me to get up each morning and walk. The wifi was great the whole time we were there. We were able to get great satellite reception. Lots of bunnies running around. Spots were easy to get in and out of. Will continue to stay here when we are in town.

Could be a lot better manicured, no grass anywhere for dogs. Nice dog run, just all rock. They stuck us in a very tight spot with large cedar trees and meters on each side.

It’s easy to see why this place is called Santa Fe Skies! All we had to do was look out our front window to catch an awesome sunrise. The sunsets behind us were nice, as well. The sites were spacious, and they had a nice common outdoor space for warmer weather. They also had a nice lodge like setting with the office and hang out space. One of my favorite things was the .6 mile trail that went around the perimeter of the property. I used it for trail running, but others would walk their dogs. Then, I also discovered that SFS was at the top of the historical Turquoise Trail, of which I cycled in its entirety on our last day! Great place!

We stayed at this Park 4 nights while we visited Sante Fe. The park is very nice with spacious spots. We used the laundry and it was very good with credit card only machines. We also used the dog run and the walking path around the park which our dogs loved. The park is located close to the freeway which gives quick access to the old part of the city. The major business route also run close to the park. WiFi was good but slowed down at night. Staff was very helpful. High winds were forecast for the day we were going to leave (up to 50 mph) and we didn't know whether we wanted to leave or not. The staff put a hold on our slot for the next night in case we decided not to travel in the wind. (We ended up leaving early going to Gallup and the winds were manageable - up to 35 mph. In the afternoon a rig blew over on I-40).

We stayed one night on our way thru they were full when we called but said they would put us in overflow which was next to the office. Still very nice. Great walk around the park. Nice office staff. Awesome views. Would definitely stay here again. There is another park in the area but could not find any reviews on it

This continues to be our "go to" place for Santa Fe. The spaces are a nice size and the view is really great. Everything is very clean and I like the eclectic artwork around the park. The showers/restrooms are very nice, but the laundry room is small. They have greatly improved the WiFi... nearly as fast as my home's! The only reason that I give it a "4" is there isn't any pool and no cable.
By user-5853082... on 2018-07-06.
One of the best RV parks we have ever stayed in. Clean, well layed out both pull thrus and back in spots. Sunsets were phenomenal. Well worth the extra few dollars.

This is practically a retirement community. Quiet, clean, manicured. Solar power. SO dog friendly (fantastic dog park) and kind, helpful staff. A lot of value for the price. Long pull through gravel sites with concrete patios. They fill propane. Great WiFi. 10-15 min drive to downtown. 10/10 would stay again.
By user-5842152... on 2019-08-09.
OK- the place is nice and clean and provides easy ingress & egress, but...Frankly, it s pretty boring. There are only minimal smaller trees and it can be quite windy due to being located on a high ridge. In fact, they warn you to avoid running out awnings due to potential damage from high winds. Don t know if we just hit it on a bad day, but seemed like a very unfriendly group of fellow RV ers as compared to other places we ve stayed. On a positive note- there is a nice dog park and I suppose it s fairly convenient to Santa Fe (20 mins or so), and maybe it s a good option when compared to other parks in the area (can t address that as this is the only one we looked at). Stay here if you re going to spend all of your time in town or inside your RV. Don t stay here is you are looking for a pleasant place to spend time outside around friendly fellow RV ers

This is a terrific RV Park with unique lots with privacy, great views and sunsets. Park is high above the city, so city lights at night look amazing. Washrooms and showers are terrific and clean, as is the laundry area. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, friendly, free showers, laundry by cc or debit, walking trail around park, large common room and patio area lit up with beautiful lights after dusk, very clean bathrooms and showers. The park is quite full and has a lot of full timers I think. Very close to amenities. It s respectful and quiet. Fenced dog park. Very thorough info sheet and map provided. I expect you d have to book ahead anytime from May-October probably as it seems to be a popular park. We loved it. Expensive but I can understand why. A very nice reprieve. Would ve loved to stay longer and explore the area. They have pull through sites and back in. Level enough we didn t have to unhitch. We are in a 27 bumper pull. All sites have a cement patio and bistro table and chairs. Good Sam discount . Price I posted is without discount applied.

Santa Fe Skies is a very nice park. It is clean, easy to get to and easy to get around in. The wifi was good and Verizon cell signal was strong. Utilities were placed well and there is plenty of space between each rig. We have 2 complaints. First, the price is way too high. $56 for anything other than a resort with a lot of amenities and manicured grounds is overpriced - way overpriced. The other thing was the lack of lighting in the dog run at night. There should be some motion sensor lighting or something to light up the dog park.
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-05-12 to 2019-05-13
this is one of the nicest parks I ve seen. The staff are friendly, the trees are a nice size and I don t think it s fair for you to rate the park low because you happened to have bad neighbors. That is not their fault. The Poole staying here during my stay were all really nice. I would return here, it s a beautiful setting and great amenities.

Decided to divert our route to SF for 2 nights. After rejecting the Rodeo Rd RV park we continued onto to Santa Fe Skies RV Park and were happy we did. Although a bit more pricey than we usually spend it was worth it. Very clean and nicely laid out. Some sites have a little more privacy than others. Yes, it can get very breezy since it s sitting on top of a ridge so be sure to heed the warming about awnings, but beats being down in a bowl with no breeze. Very quiet will little to no road noise. All gravel roads inside the park except for the main entrance way. A little dusty, but then it is desert and they re NOT allowed to water due to town restrictions on water usage. Large bath/shower rooms although it was HOT inside the men s room. Either they don t have have A/C in the bathrooms or it wasn t working, not sure, but it was HOT! Was surprised there was NO accommodations recycling waste. Would stay here again if in the area.

This looked like one of the prettier parks in Santa Fe and we weren t disappointed. Showed up VERY late (sorry) due to highway closure. No problem getting 42 fifth wheel into reserved pull through spot. Very quiet at night and *pitch black* campground. Loved it. Safe and secure area so don t be concerned about the lack of security spot lights. Good dog area and friendly folks. GREAT collection of labeled old trucks, tractors, in an organized spot and lots of art scattered around the park... and we were here for Tengo Night! Free lessons from the park owner. Only wish we could have extended our stay but they were booked.
