Good safe spot

Currently just women from a night here. Parked on Sam's side. Was very peaceful night. About 5 other campers with mix of RVs, caravans and small van like us. The wind has really picked up recently, around 7.30am - no wonder the spaceship crashed nearby!

Walmart itself is one of the highest priced Walmarts I been in. Nothing on sale and store clearance stuff fits on one 8 ft shelf section. Don't expect to get any meat or product or deli on special at night either. Becides that. Open 24 hours. Good place to spend the night and even better, Sam's club next door.

March 2018. We called and stayed with permission. Kind of a busy Walmart and many other rigs the night we stayed. Also, some rigs in the Sam's Club parking lot. Good place to overnight in Roswell.

A Good Night

We pulled in and was greeted by a worker asking if we were staying the night. We replied yes and he directed next door to Sam's since they were painting parking lot strips. It was a level lot, noise was not bad, not too many bright lights.

Pulled in around 10 and there was already a couple camper trailers parked on the edge of the parking lot near Sams. Pulled in with them and the night was uneventful apart from some younger folk with their loud cars/trucks occassionally ripping up the nearby road.

The location is good. Lots of parking and other RVs but the night we stayed there were so many loud cars and motorcycles driving though.

Park on the Sam s Club side

We parked in the Walmart parking lot on the Sam s side of the store. We parked along the curb. There were a few RV s in the Sam s parking lot and that definitly would have been easier to get situated. There is a Chili s right there too.

Safe walmart with great food options nearby. We bought groceries then parked on the side marked for rvs. Walked over the panda Express for dinner. Couple other RVs and semis.

We stayed here after asking management where to park. After we arrived several other travelers arrived and came & went throughout the night. The lot is very well lit and level. It s a bit noisy with traffic and late night cruising, but overall it was a very good place to park. Easy in and easy out.

Busy Walmart. Pulled in by Sam s Club. Otherwise, hard to turn into parking lot. Parked in front to the left. Very nice people!
