Great Location
By user-5862048... on 2017-10-23.
Located close to entrance to park. Owner and Hosts were friendly and helpful with a well maintained park. One-way in and out, gravel roads and sites. Standard sites close but adequate; was able to maneuver around in site to allow slides and ramps for wheelchair entrance. In Class A MH so didn't check out bathrooms/showers or laundry. The only negative we saw was although they had 3 different WiFi log-on sites and they had great signals, all 3 would go in and out but still usable.

Location, location, location
By user-6288520... on 2017-10-23.
Good location outside of the north entrance of Yellowstone. Very nice and clean park, but you can reach out and touch your neighbor. THE RULES: no check-in after 8 pm, check out 10:30 am. Leave dog poo and be evicted, early departure fee $50, reservation cancellation fee $100. Treated us OK on check-in, but were rude to the previous customer

Are you serious?
By user-5878808... on 2017-10-23.
I feel like I should direct my review at the other visitor who only gave 1 star. Because I had the complete opposite experience. The staff was courteous and helpful, they answered all my questions in detail about local restaurants and nearby attractions. The spaces could be further apart, but I've seen closer and besides why would I care? I'm not going to live here!
Here's what I have found traveling in my RV... everywhere I go, people are friendly, helpful and treat me with respect. Everybody. I believe this is because I get back from people in the world commensurate to what I put out there. If I'm nice, people are nice So, be nice!

Read this and it will make your decision easy
By user-6038775... on 2017-10-23.
Very disappointed in general. No space between sites and the rates are very steep for what they offer. The amenities listed are only available during certain hours- and it is lights out early here. No trees, no clearance between spots. No fires at all. The most unfortunate aspect of our ONE Night stay was the demeanor of the staff. Not friendly and more than one employee had the attitude of "the customer is always wrong". Take your chances with going into Yellowstone and either calling ahead at a campgeound that will take reservations and offer you more nature for less than half the price, or go to a private rv park outside the west gate of YNP that will be prettier, cheaper, and offer you more. Fishing Bay inside Yellowstone is the only campground inside YNP with full hook ups and they do take reservations.

Pretty Good

Stayed 2016-08-11 to 2016-08-13
Friendly and efficient staff. One of the nicest and cleanest laundromats I have seen. Easy access to Yellowstone. Sites were a little close with just enough length for rig and truck. Very good wifi and cable. Easy satellite setup. Rather pricey but you are paying for location. We would stay here again.

Good Location!
By user-5908432... on 2017-10-23.
Very close to the north entrance of Yellowstone NP. Stayed here after we finished our day at Mammoth Hot Springs. Just a 10-15 min drive from Mammoth. Well maintained - clean grounds. Our spot was level and even had a nice bit of grass with a picnic table. Bathrooms and showers are nice. The city of Gardiner has grocery, restaurants, and gas (propane fill up too). Would stay here again.

Convenient location

Staff grumpy on check-in but improved with joking around. Not easy to get in and out during the day when RV's stacked up like jets over LAX, but staff offered to open back gate to let us out. Typical tourist town- crowded, lots of crazies, people not watching their children or frankly allowing misbehavior without a word. Our RV had a holding tank issue so we needed to use the showers. They're ok, but far away with no walk way down there so you have to walk all the way around park. Hook-ups not conveniently located. Our water was under the neighbor's picnic table, and sewer way at other end of site. Not my favorite spot on this trip for sure, but not the worst I've ever stayed in either.

Clean, well run, and close to Yellowstone NP
By user-4519230... on 2017-10-23.
The staff is good and sites are level. Distance to your neighbor varies on premium or nonpremium. All sites have enough space for slides & etc. We'd gladly come back.

Great Find
By user-5986118... on 2018-05-17.
We stayed here in a 40’ motorhome. This RV park is among the 5 best parks we have stayed in. Gravel so no dust and grass at each sight. Management is extremely pleasant and gave us great info as to some sights to see in Yellowstone. We actually sat in our coach and watched deer and Elk eating grass on the lot next door to this park. Will definitely recommend this park to any of our friends coming to Yellowstone.

Amazing views! So close to N Entrance to Yellowstone that we could count the cars. Also, a short walk into town to browse. The owners take pride in every aspect of this park. Friendly staff. This park has the cleanest and nicest restrooms and showers we've ever experienced. We will definitely return AND bring our friends!

SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT
By user-6639967... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-09-19 to 2018-10-21
This park is overpriced, offers zero ambience with the smallest sites imaginable, and greeted us by telling us we had no reservation. We were given a site that literally had our neighbors stepping over our discharge hose to exit their trailer. Staff woke us up early the next morning to tell us we would be moving to another site. We declined, requested a refund, and were denied that as well. They relented, "let us" stay in the original site second night and were delighted to leave this ridiculous "park".

A lot of good, a little bad

We reserved a deluxe site and ended up in site 51. It was $71 + 10% tax less 10% Good Sam. A previous reviewer complained about the cost. Well, this IS Yellowstone in the high season! We stayed at another RV Park that was 30 miles away from the Yellowstone east entrance that was over $90 per night for a much less desirable park. Everything is relative.
I agree with other reviewers that the sites are small. We only have a 30 camper and still had to parallel park our truck in front of our camper. But the park very well maintained. Lots of green grass. We did not use the bath house, but did do laundry. Very clean. $3 wash, $2 dry per load. I would generally say the backin sites are better than the pull-throughs. There s more space between you and your neighbor in the back-ins. Plus they look longer.
The location is perfect for early morning jaunts into the north side of YS. The park is a 2 min drive from the north entrance. Gardiner is a cool little town. Some good restaurants, a small grocery, gas stations, etc. all you need. Overall, I recommend the park highly.

Very well kept park, sites and roads big enough for big rigs. Very nice and helpful staff. So close to Yellowstone but quiet and peaceful with mountain views.
