This is by far the least friendly (staff/owners) park we've stayed at thus far. We've traveled Maine to Florida and Virginia to Texas up to Reno. So, we've been to many parks. The perks... It is on the Truckee River and that is really nice. Sparks has a nice park, grass, trees, water access and a path. The Rivers Edge RV Park is blacktop... One small tree between each spot if you're lucky enough to have one that is alive. The pull through makes it a good park to stay a night and hit the road. The stuff we really were unhappy with. We checked in on a Sunday, after making a reservation over six months in advance. Nothing was ready for us and the woman working at the desk huffed about having to get us checked in.
Have been coming here for years. Nice older park. Lots of trees. Becoming more of a permanent resident park. Right under the airport approach. Noisey daytime but quite at night.
We were told they no longer accept RVs. They have become a mobile home park.
