Riverbend Campground

Stayed there this weekend. Had a great spot on the river. Staff and owners friendly. Needs a play ground and a tad more things for little kids to enjoy but would stay again. We were there in a travel trailer.

This campground looks like it used to be pretty nice. Unfortunately it is not well kept. Bathrooms are a joke and I would bathe in the river before the showers. Way overpriced for its condition.

Not a bad place at all. New owners took over beginning of the year so they have a lot of work to do. They are fixing it up, just taking time. We have been there 2 times and we will go back

| Avoid this place at all cost

I would avoid this place at all cost. We were early campers in the season and we're told by the owner that the showers wouldn't be open until the weekend. However, when we arrived all of the water was off in the bathrooms, and when they were turned on there was raw sewage leaking on the floor from the toilets. The power went out the first night from a bad connection. Also there was flood debris laying all around and it poked my toddler in the face in her stroller when we tried to go for a walk. My husband asked for a refund and the owner readily agreed, but he avoided us for a month, finally writing us a bad check for only part of the amount, which bounced, leaving us in trouble with our bank.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Outdated and rundown but has a new owner now. Would visit again.

| Don't go here! The place is in very ill repair

Visited Memorial weekend 2019 and left without staying. The owner spoke with me and used the excuse that the place was his second priority to his other business. The roads were crumbling (a lot), and there was deep water filled holes in them. In one spot, the entire road was underwater and it looked deep. I refused to drive through it and got on the grass to go around. The owner's wife came out saying to her husband, "How much damage was done to our grass?". I didn't do any damage. She said she had it all on video. Very nasty woman. The owner told me the roads were always under water because it is along the river. No campers were there on a holiday weekend...red flag right there. Between the standing water and some areas of high grass, I bet the mosquito population is out of control. He also said that no campers could camp along the edge of the river, only tents.
