Excellence
By user-6077104... on 2018-06-27.
Call early, this great place fills up fast. Super customer service from the young man in the office. Excellent cleanliness in bathrooms, laundry, and game room. Area for kids to play by the office. Next to the river with a nice walkway. Away from highway noise, gravel spaces with lots of room for big rigs. Highly recommended.

The campground is very nice! Quite and super clean. The bathroom and laundry room were so nice. Loise always had change for the laundry and kept the place super clean.

Nice park. Good value. Lois made us feel right at home. Sites are level decomposed granite, with artificial grass, some with a view of the river. Well positioned and very clean shower and recreation facilities. Attentive staff circulated through the park several times a day.

Best park.
By user-5364330... on 2018-06-27.
This could be the best maintained and managed park we've ever stayed in. Baths are squeaky clean. Level sites. Right on the North Platte river and 5 minutes from Casper. Love this place.

Rivers Edge RV Park-A Winner!

Best Good Sam's park we've stayed at. The park is well maintained and super clean! The restrooms and shower houses are spotless!
Wifi is great, cable is good as well as the over the air channels.
The best part is the friendly staff, a young man and his mother do a tremendous job. They make you feel at home! Guess that's why it's sold out even after Labor Day!
Would consider staying here long term if looking for that in our travels.

Nice park
By user-5226683... on 2018-06-27.
Large , level, all gravel sites and roads. Have a big swatch of fake grass under picnic table. It's a nice area for sitting. Facilities were very clean. Park located about 15 minutes from downtown Casper. Would definitely stay here again if in area. Staff friendly and helpful.

Awesome Stay!
By user-5802177... on 2018-06-27.
We just wrapped up a full month of traveling around the country and staying at RV parks. This place was by far the best stay. We stayed 3 nights waiting for the weather to clear up in Yellowstone. Facilities were clean, the staff was very friendly. James does a great job running the place. He was very informative as to killing time in Casper. Lois was very helpful as well. The only complaint about the place is the proximity to town (maybe 5 minutes from). Next time we head to Yellowstone, we will definitely stay here again.

Five Star Campground
By user-5328489... on 2018-06-27.
Nicest park I've ever stayed in, bar none. Level gravel sights, playground, clean restrooms and showers. Next to the river but close to Casper. Will definitely stay here again.

Great People Managing
By user-4775594... on 2018-06-27.
This is a gravel campground with very level sites, each one with their own patch of astroturf. The sites have plenty of room between them. The Lady and her son who manage this place are some of the nicest people we have come across in all our travels! The restrooms, laundry room, and grounds are spotless! We will stay here again!

Nice campground. Close to Casper but out of mainstream traffic and borders the North Platte River. Hosts very accommodating when we called to come in a day early and extend our stay. We were met by host and led right to our site and given a tour of campgrounds facilities. Sites are mainly level, gravel base. Each site has it's own "grass" (artificial turf) and picnic table with small tree. Park appears to be fairly new. No pool, but Laundry, bathrooms, lounge with pool table, exercise room all very clean. Only negative is lack of shade onsite. Would stay here again. Traveling in 37' motorhome towing.

Great Spot for Overnight or Longer!
By user-6447659... on 2018-06-27.
I stopped here late in the afternoon on a trip up to Montana. The host was just locking up for the night, but easily got me registered, showed me the bath / shower facilities and made sure i was set up for the evening. Nice large sites and a beautiful park like setting down by the river. A bit pricey, but very nice accommodations . A definite return if I am in the area.

Nice Campground for the area!
By user-5862048... on 2018-06-27.
Excellent community areas; game room, laundry & showers. Manager/Host very friendly and helpful. Park is newer park so still looks a lot like a parking lot but they have planted trees and have used astroturf for a spot of grass. Sites were BIG and long. Only problem was WiFi would diconect you but was strong when connected. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great place for a couple of days

This is the best place to stay in Casper. The sites are a good size... I'm not sure that I would call them "super sites". Most sites looked pretty level, but are gravel/dirt. We had some wind and it got dusty very quickly. The WiFi is so-so and there is no pool. However, the bathrooms/showers and laundry room are very clean. Despite being on the river, there really wasn't any place in the park to take walks along it or ride bicycles. Lois (manager) is very nice and will try to accommodate your needs.

Level gravel sites. Electrical and water hookups near rear of site, sewer connection near the middle of site. Did not visit restroom or showers but the office and laundry room were super clean. Lot of long term residents located around perimeter of park but all seemed to be neat and quiet.

Unexpected surprise
By user-5812729... on 2018-06-27.
I just finished two weeks of dry camping and had to come through Casper.I dreaded the old:rack, pack and stack,of a commercial campground. Some I guess love it because it reminds them of the city life, but this place satisfied both.No overbearing security lights, quite for close to town,AND,a fare price!James the manager is great, even putting up with us sometimes grumpy campers. There is room to park my truck on my site and actually have room to walk between it and my camper.Very clean everything, liberal checkout time, nice sites.I will stay here again if in the area,I wish more campgrounds would take this attitude.
By user-5058917... on 2018-06-27.
Very nice park to stay in. I felt safe which is a huge plus for me. You don't always get that in rv parks. There's laundry facilities, showers, rec room, and a modest general store. Lois was the best! She took good care of us which I appreciated immensely. The closer you're parked to the office, the better your Wi-Fi signal. We were in the closest row so our signal was excellent.

Wifi is weak and they tell you when you check in that they do not guarantee it at the site. I guess it is better in the office. RV parks really need to step up their game in this are. We depend on it to find things to do and check weather. Louise is fabulous and helpful as can be. The gravel roads to get to your site are wide and easy. Sites are wide and can accommodate our 38' with tow. You get a beautiful view of the river. We have Verizon and two bars here. Our hot spot is having trouble getting us on the Internet. There are restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. Easy drive to get over to Casper.

Good overnight

Stayed 2018-06-12 to 2018-06-13
Hot showers only in the office showers, the outer shower house had no hot water. The boys enjoyed their playground and basketball court. He played pool in the rec room. WiFi works as does the cable. All gravel pads with FHU. Lots of noise overnight with industrial area and trains, but we have a hybrid camper and probably heard more than most will. Staff was great. River on the north side is very pretty addition. Good overall overnight stopping place.

We came in pretty late and were able to check ourselves in for the night no problem. The area was very serene, they have an area down by the river set up with tables and a teepee that was so beautiful!
On our way out, we needed batteries for our kids games.. so we went into the store.. which didn’t have much of anything. But the woman who runs the place went into her apartment and offered her own personal batteries as well as a lighter so we could light our pilot. So super nice! She saved us a trip to a big store with our 5 kids!
