Large, flat, level gravel pull through sites. You can walk I the music barn/shops. We did not go in, but could hear the music while walking the dog and it was very good. Good bbq place by the like was recommended by the guy checking us in. I would definitely stop here again.

This is a great campground if you like music. It is on the Renfro Valley Ent Cntr grounds. Older part of campground is easy walk to shows, food, etc. Mostly 30A and a few long 80+ pull-thrus.
The newer part of the campground is designed for big rigs with 50A long sites. During the week, you check in at office on the highway.

We were looking for a nice pull-thru site for one night only. This place was closed. Nothing mentioned that in the reviews or on their website.

Flat gravel sites close together with a picnic table each. Music hall very close if you like blue grass. Quiet at night. Bathrooms and showers good. Do not use the Mount Vernon address on Passport America for GPS. Use Renfrow Valley instead.
Sprint and AT&T coverage good.

Nice stay
By user-5629925... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed in the lot for larger rigs. Gravel and open, lots of space and easy pull thrus. They take Passport America and Good Sams. Full hookups (including cable and wifi). Kentucky Music Hall of Fame just 1/2 mile away, which was fun to go thru. Shows are on weekends, but we were able to go thru a free tour of old pioneer buildings on the property.

Stopped one night
By user-5888129... on 2017-10-23.
This place is open, however, the restaurant is closed and if there's no country music show none of the village shops are open. It's like a ghost town. I imagine it could be alot of fun with a show and more campers. There are two lots one for larger rigs. We should have been over there but we were in the lot behind the village that was a bit smaller. No obvious place for garbage so we used the cans by the bathhouse. There was plenty of room to run our dog. We even had the need to run out to a hardware store that was thankfully open until 6pm.

We’ve stayed here several times. For only $15 with Passport America, you get a level, full hookup spot with plenty of room.
And, get this, 60+ cable channels and WiFi that actually works. We’ve paid a lot more for a lot less. Skip the KOA’s, stay here instead.

Great one nite stop IF no rain. Great cable and decent wifi. Area a little short on restaurants. We ate at the El Dorado which has authentic Mexican food.

Good Sam Rate $40. Definately not worth it. Roads are pot holed and sites are nothing.

Nice halfway stop. Paid Passport $18.50 for 50 amp pull thru. Wifi can overload when a lot of rigs are in. Same for Verizon data . El Dorado has excellent authentic Mexican cuisine . Derby City usally has decent price for diesel fuel. We come thru in spring and fall so no music . Center row can be very wet in the rainy times.

Renfro Valley

Good location off of I75, easy to enter campground and registration was easy. Register @ Ticket office staff was friendly and helpful. There are several potholes in the drive and some water around due to recent rains. You can walk to the theater. Overall not bad. No shade In the part we were in but the older part has shade.

Great location if you are attending the shows or the Kentucky Music Hall Of Fame. The park itself is in need of a little TLC (gravel to fill in pot holes and sites) but sites are level and there is a creek running through the park. 50 amp electric on the newer side with water and sewer hookups.
