The park is located walking distance to the beach, although it is a bit of a hike around the creek to get there. The spaces are close together and mostly sandy dirt. The bathrooms are clean and modern. There is an onsite restaurant with daily specials that looked reasonable, but we never ate there. There is a heated pool, spa, laundry room, store, outdoor game area, and several children's play areas. There was quite a lot to do at the park, but the weather was a bit chilly to do much while we were there.

Great for kids
By user-5020585... on 2017-10-23.
Short walk to the beach from this super maintained park. It's s kid's paradise here with plenty of activities for them, from bike rentals to the arcade and pool. People have been coming here repeating for years. Would love to come again. Only downside is you can't reserve a specific spot, and some are less desirable than others. Medium walk or short drive to downtown Pismo Beach.

Way overpriced. Like other reviews have stated you're space may really suck. Better parks are near.

Best in two weeks

Spent 2 weeks prowling Morro Bay Lompoc Oceano in new RVs. Trying out our new 22 ft Keystone Premier while my brother broke in his Diesel class c. By far and not even close the best RV park in the entire area. Facilities are in a class of their own and the staff is great. Mid September 2015 rates are $50 per night.

The spots are close for $70 per night, but all in all, a good place for families with kids. Lots of kids activities, pool, miniature golf and a good crafts room. The only downside is the WIFI. It's slow and kicks you off frequently. They have a disclaimer but really?

A benchmark experience
By user-4686275... on 2017-10-23.
My wife and I have trailer camped when we were children, but not since than. We recently purchased a new 26' travel trailer.
For a maiden voyage we wanted to go somewere really special. We like the beach, activities are important to us as, well as the opportunity to explore.
After careful review on the internet, and making a few phone calls, Pismo Coast Village was a no brainer!
There are so many things to do besides the park, the pier and town is within a mile .
This is a large RV park! There will be camp fires, children, bicycles and activities, but as far as I'm concerned this is all part of the experience! We were not disappointed! AAA+++
This place is popular! If you want to stay here, it could take over a year to get a reservation, especially in the summer.
Happy camping!

Decent Place and Very Pricey
By user-5877638... on 2017-10-23.
Overall, nice place to stay; very family friendly with tins of stuff for the kids to do. Store and restaurant on site. You have to walk down the block to get to the beach because there is a huge thing of standing water between the park and ocean. Close to downtown Pismo. Tons of places to eat, shop, rent ocean toys, and party. A little something for everyone here.

Very disappointing, over rated.

If you like camping being surrounded by traffic noise and fumes, then this is the place for you. Sounds of the sea, no chance. Ripped off into spending the three day minimum at $68 a night to sit watching traffic, and no sleep. Don't be fooled by the photos. They would not tell us before we booked which slot we were getting and now we know why. Everyone around us was disappointed in the same way. Pity.

We had a great site, it was very level. A little muddy in front but there was a deluge the day before. Customer service was great, answered all my questions patiently. Their store was well stock and slightly better priced than most convenient stores. Wish we had time to stay longer

Great Vation
By user-4879968... on 2018-07-06.
PCV was a nice Park, Amenities were good, staff was friendly and helpful, close to downtown Pismo and other areas that you can Acess. Only issue is that spaces are small and Park is very large , a lot of RV’s coming and going.

Very hard to get a spot gotta plan in advance. Perfect location to the pier and great place for kids. With beach access. All the amenities you expect and clean.
