Very nice
By user-6592363... on 2017-10-23.
Close to I-10. Friendly staff. They have just opened up some new pull-through sites at the front of the facility. Water and electric only, but easy access to dump. Wifi good if close to office. Great overnight stop for $20.

Large sites and great place to stay
By user-5871030... on 2017-10-23.
Have been here this time for 3 weeks great value for what it is, $125 a week. Really quiet except for the coyotes howling which we love to hear. Adding another 100 + full hook up sites. You can go for free to most of the events that are happening while your staying here. We did the Gun show, RV show and 2 horse events.

Very helpful and friendly. Best for over night. No trees, showers, but plenty of space to walk dogs. Was a good price though.

Basic Clean Flat Roomy
By user-5279257... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed one night. They take credit cards. We got to choose our site. Since there was nothing going on at the fairgrounds it was very quiet. It would be a great place during fair time or another event!

Great RV park at County Fairgrounds
By user-4965533... on 2018-03-14.
Stayed 2017-12-28 to 2017-12-29
Office staff bent over backwards to be friendly efficient and helpful. What a pleasant stay. It is after all the county park and not a RV Resort. But at $25 it's a bargain.

Great stopover

Stayed 2018-03-21 to 2018-03-22
There aren't very many amenities here but it's a nice, clean, quiet place to stop when going between California and Texas. Sites are large and at $25, it's priced right.

Not Recommended
By user-4895192... on 2019-08-09.
Huge place offering more than 300 sites. When we stayed the place was pretty much empty, but if this place gets full it would be miserable. The sites are designed for two RVs to park next to each other facing opposite directions. No picnic table or anything between the RVs. The hook ups are fine, and each hookup station is designed to accommodate two RVs. Basically, the campground is a big gravel lot, with no trees (it must be miserable in the summer heat). The bathrooms are far and without showers. There s a separate building that has showers but it s way across the fairgrounds and this place is huge (we drove our RV to the shower facility before we left the next morning). I wouldn t stay here again.

Weekly rate $150. spaces in the back are very tight and all back ins. There is a new gravel lot up front which has a bit more room but it is really just a gravel parking lot with full hook ups. Haven t used the showers and half of the washing machines were out of commission due to sewer issues. Other than that it is a safe park. There is a 1.5 mile fitness trail and lots of room to walk. We have a dog and I like the space. Also enjoyed watching the horses compete. There is a small restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
