Rest Area Camping
By user-6127273... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2017-08-24 to 2017-08-25
We have stopped here many times over the years while traveling around country. Yes, there are trains and semis but it is a Rest Area not a RV Resort. We accidentally locked ourselves out of our coach and the cleaning people not only lent us their ladder but offered to have one of them young daughter crawl through window for us. We of course declined the child doing that but these people were so helpful.

Clean and Quiet

Besides the trains that go through this was a nice place to stop and sleep the night away. The visitor center is permanently closed but they have restroom and vending machines. The grounds are cleaned quite nicely and you can step over and take a pic infront of the Welcome to Arizona sign.

Full of semis

Looked nice and clean, but all the spaces were taken by big rig semis so we moved on to the next rest stop east. Close to gas station with a big selection of sundries

We didn't stay here because...
By user-6329650... on 2018-05-17.
the previous post said it was closed. It was open when we drove by today. Looks on the smaller side though

It's open and looked nice however there are few parking places for trucks and RVs. We couldn't stop because we couldn't park.

Noisy with a great view
By user-6410205... on 2019-08-09.
The train runs across the interstate and the noise is there as you would expect from a rest area In this park of the USA. We parked in the first semi parking space, had a big semi next to us blocking some of the noise. Silicone earplugs in and we slept great. The park is nice with a nice garden, painted cliffs and the Arizona welcome sign is there for pictures. Nice pocketed picnic area.
