Passing through the area and stopped. Hard to beat $20 per night for 30 amp water and sewer. Bathhouse was nasty so I showerd in the rv. Area is a little iffy for single women. No frills here, only a cheap place to sleep.
We were visiting friends who lived in Ocala, so we stayed for a week for $100 for full hookups (50amp). The property has changed ownership to a nonprofit, but the name still remains at the moment. They've cleaned things up a bit, but it's still dated, without a pool (as advertised), without wifi at the site (only at/around the office), low water pressure, 1 new toilet (of 3 stalls), 1 decent shower (of 2). The employees are friendly, professional, and readily available, as needed. Although there are lots of homeless people here, I felt safe as a female while walking my small dog day and night. It's located within 20 minutes of historic site, Fort King, and Silver Springs State Park, where we went hiking and kayaking with the manatees...highly recommended experiences!
