Overnight stop

Okay for an over night stop. There were a LOT of large groups (not campers) there the one night we stayed. Looked like family reunions or just gatherings. None were noisy or disruptive. Our site was as level as most places but a little close to the site next to us. Bath house/showers could use a makeover to freshen them up. Take the time to walk through the Pioneer Village next door it is well worth the time spent there. The campground office is in the building to the village. We missed the turn here because the Mile "0" sign is well above the Pioneer Village sign. We had to turn around and come back.

Could be...

We had an enjoyable stay but some some general comments are: the have EVERYTHING to be a 5 star RV Park but they fall short. The people are super but the park is 'tight' space wise and the bathrooms/laundry facilities could be a lot better.

Nice Campground
By user-2288004 on 2017-10-23.
This place is neat as a pin. Paved sites, level and grass in between sites. Whoever thinks the sites are unlevel isn't being fair. About as good as they get along the Alaskan Hwy.

We had a pleasant stay here. The office is now located at the entrance to the Pioneer Village which is worth a visit as well. I would stay here again.

We camped here in a 30 ft 5th wheel. It had been raining a lot and the campground was very muddy. The sites are unlevel. Like most campgrounds on the way to Alaska they are setup for people who just stay one night and move on. The campground across the street was not accepting any campers because it had flooded; the rain was more than usual.

This campground gets a 5 from me. Came For 1 night , ended up staying 3 with no problems! Sites have gravel, long sites, trees , grass, yes kinda close together , but not a problem fir us, showers , bathrooms close by, front staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable On site has playground, splash pad, Pioneer Village about the area
Very good and fun to look at. Aiden was the best. Even saw Mamma Moose and calf ihoffing it thru the park, didn't get a pic fast enough! Recommend this park!

Good overnight stop, nothing special but gets the job done. No wifi if you need it.

The funny thing about this place and most others on the Alaskan Highway is it seems like the only record of history they have is the one that started when traders came here in the 1800s. Anyway this is full hookups and in walking distance to town not that there is sidewalks everywhere but it s doable. Right off the main road. The swimming pool was closed when we were here.
