Magnolia beach campgrounds is simply great for relaxing under natural tree covered sites. The beach is the best thing. We loved walking the beach with our dog.Our stay was week. Not fancy but very friendly .I would come back again.

Lots of trees and shade. Park has a new owner and they have plans to upgrade, So keep an eye on this one. It s a very funky and rustic, quiet . Owner is at park daily. Beautiful view of Santa Rosa Sound. 3 1/2 miles from Navarre Beach on the strand

New owners have JUST taken over and are changing the name to HIDEAWAY very soon. And the new name fits. One feels safely tucked away amongst the wonderful shade trees. We had site #16 which afforded us a beautiful water view. Owner was extremely friendly. She is in the process of switching the office from manual processes to computerized. Also doing some repainting and updating. With the coming upgrades, friendly staff, beach access (the water is crystal clear), and great location, I would highly recommend a visit. Wish we could have stayed longer. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here. Four stars until all the upgrades are done, then I would expect five.

Magnolia Beach Campground is under new ownership and let me tell ya, this place is now 5 stars. The new owner has turned this place around in just a short period of time. This is the total package of a campground. Beautiful graveled roads and sites, amazing shady spots, and a pet friendly private beach. Staff is extremely friendly. There will be more and more upgrades coming in the next couple months is what the owner and staff explained. Including bath house and laundry room upgrade, fishing pier rebuild, kids activity area, kayak and paddle board rentals and more. This is the place to be. This is a true unique outdoor experience. She has even changed the name to reflect the changes to The Hide Away A Camping Retreat.
