Very nice park
By user-5903737... on 2017-10-23.
We travel for 4 plus months in our motorhome during the summer and we see many parks. This is a very nice one. Full services and a limited view of the Ohio River. Roads are gravel and the sites are grass (nice grass). Very open which we prefer.
Would return if in the area.

Beautiful!

This was One of the most beautiful places we stayed during our road trip. Wish we could've stayed more than one night. They have everything you could want, including the view.

We stayed along the river in wonderful grassy areas with full hookups. The hookup posts all look like little green light houses that light up at night. The birds, the fireflies, the nature, the river, all very pleasant. Did not use any other facilities. Camp staff will pick your trash up daily. About 30 minutes from Creation Museum, 1 hour from Noah's Ark - both 'must sees'. John & Paula, Colorado.

We really liked this park. We stayed in the river area, backed up to the Ohio River. The full hook-ups were great. The site is gravel and fairly level. We had a good Verizon and Dish signal. We loved watching the barges, and pleasure boats go up and down the river and watched a seaplane take off right behind us as well. There are lots of activities provided by the park, however we did not stay long enough to participate. There are bathhouses and laundry facilities. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights and could have stayed longer. Stayed in a pull thru down by the river. Park well kept, friendly and well priced. Definitely should stay again.

1st impressions so far
By user-5104492... on 2018-03-14.
Been at campground for a very short time. Upper loop is more crammed, like a trailer park while the lower area adjacent to ohio river is more open but much less trees. Upper loop by campstore office has many deep potholes that could be stocked with fish when it rains. 2 showers per bathroom or total of 4 women/men. Not sure about facilities lower area by the ohio river. Verizon Signal 3 to 4 bars at upper part. Again not sure about the lower area by river. Lot of seasonals. Little pond at upper section, small playground, minigolf- fee? playroom/arcade-fee? If want more privacy choose lower area by the ohio river. Also wifi is non existent. ..off and on..not reliable. Verizon 4glte great!

Overpriced
By user-6228864... on 2018-03-14.
Nearly 50/night on weekends and 44 the other days. It's functional with FHU. Bathroom, shower house, laundry again functional. Laundry 1.75 per load to wash and 1.75 to dry. When it rains it floods here. Roads are hit or miss as the weather really gets them muddy and with eventual potholes. Trash picked up at site. Wifi didnt work, but Verizon strong for internet. I wouldn't call this a resort. Just an avg private campground with its seasonal regulars. Pretty open area, with two sections- by the ohio river and the main campground up on a hill by the campstore.

Stayed at LF over 5 months in 2018-19. Lower CG has big, wide, open, easy access all pull-through spaces down by the river. Upper CG is a little tighter, but still easy access with both pull-through and back-in. Mtnc Crew is friendly, helpful, and down to earth. If you need something, dont hesitate to ask them. The never said 'no'. I never had a bad interaction with Office Staff, always kind and talkative. Lots of weekend action for the kids, esp leading up to Halloween. Fishing Pond. Cart rentals. Playground. KidFriendly BB court. The ONLY con was related to Ohio River Flooding and communication/timing between office/campers. If the river aint gonna flood, its a good place to get away from the city and breath some fresh air.
