Nice clean well kept. Very friendly staff. Spent one peaceful night. Would recommend.
Beautiful water views. Very peaceful! This campground is well managed and cared for by a very nice owner. It is very near the causeway onto Cape Breton so a good stopping point going either direction on 104. The campground is very well kept and laid out with many pull throughs. The laundry and washrooms are also very clean. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is its lack of a pool table or pool, etc. but it does have a hiking trail and nice small playground.
Campground is quiet (except for minor highway noise at times)and peaceful. It is able to accommodate big rigs in pull throughs to tents. Most of the campground was sloped, so although the coach required minimal leveling, the "camp" area was sloped considerably. Although not a very big campground, the tents were separated from RVs. Many motocycle and car campers came and went. The only rule was quiet hours are all the time. We had full hookups (50A)for our 43 ft coach. Very friendly and helpful owner. Would stay again. Only two negatives: Sites could benefit if utility connections had a small fence to shield view from next site, and the small public road in from the highway to the campground was awful (but that is being repaved soon).
