Two KOAs at Sam's Town
By user-5806966... on 2017-10-23.
We stopped at was apparently WAS LV RV Resort but now KOA on Nellis. Small clean. Parking lot basically. They said there are TWO KOAs. One on Nellis, the other off Boulder hwy on other side of Sam's Town.
The office lady was OK, but took a long time for her to give me a price. She was able to quote both Nelli's KOA and Boulder KOA.
Have wifi only in office ( closes at 5pm), pool area and laundry area.
We decided not to stay.

Very Pleasant Park, Close to Walmart and Sam's Town
By user-5898216... on 2017-10-23.

Park was clean, with level concrete pads. Easy access on Nellis, about six blocks from Hwy 515. We had reliable Wifi (streamed our back home tv channels almost constantly) and were not among the closest spots to the office, space 177. Did not use any of the facilities such as pool, hot tub, showers, etc., so can't comment on those. Folks were friendly. We made quick friends with our neighbors, and everyone including staff and management were very friendly and outgoing. The only reason we gave it four stars, was the fact that it's not as pet friendly as we like. They have two small pet potty areas, (not allowed to "go" anywhere else), and it depending on your location in the park, it could be a bit of a walk to get doggie to one of the two designated "drop zones." The pet areas were very well cared for though, I have to say.

Good Choice for Vegas Trip

We was there for 4 nights. Its very easy to find, near to the strip with the Bus and all is very beautiful. Warm and wonderful pool and a really hot jacuzzi. If we visit Veags again we, do it again on Oasis.
Very friendly women in the shop - Goldy, thanks for the advices!
Negativ - you always hear the noise of the Highway, not much green on the places.

Nice Place

One of the many RV parks on or in this case just off Boulder Highway. All of them are asphalt with few trees. This is one of the nicest. The pool and spa are very nice as are the showers and toilets. Good security, friendly staff, adult park so no kids at the pool. Special rate when I was there $29 plus tax about $33. Internet worked well.

Great staff, clean park, and clean bathrooms. Staff took us to our site and assisted us getting parked to leave us the most room. Security found I had left one of my bins open. They closed it an left me a note. We asked about the possibility of staying a couple extra days (we are already staying a month) so we can have a repair done, and they said no problem and blocked them out for us, just in case.

Quick check in

Great bathrooms. 8 private showers with toilet, sink, plugs for hair dryer. Room is 10 by 10. Lots of pressure and super hot water. Yes, they do monthly and I paid, $20 a day, your first month is taxed each additional month is not. Staff was on the ball and contently cleaning and patrolling for problems.
You are protected by guards at the gate 24hrs a day. KOA, next door is wide open to anyone.

Owners have made many improvements. Park is spotless. Constant courtesy patrols and tight security. Very safe place to stay in LV. Spaces were close but quiet and clean. Full hookups and lots of spaces available.
Close to downtown LV and all the action.

Great overnighter
By user-5458695... on 2019-08-09.
After looking at all the reviews on the many Vegas campgrounds we picked this one and it turned out the best for us. The pluses, clean, tidy, quiet and secure. The only negative is the severity of the speed humps/ramps, they could be calmed down a little. Good roads throughout and a level site (175). The check in and all the other staff were great. In the diary as our preferred overnight from San Diego to anywhere involving I-15.

Don't stay on the parimiter...
By user-5544603... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-10-17 to 2018-10-30
Beware of any parimiter site here, there are wild kids that throw stones at the clubhouse and your RV. We were hit by a stone, it dented our slide channel. Had to fix. Not a relaxing stay.
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
It s 100% full timers who stay all winter. They don t reserve part of the park for travelers who don t book well in advance. Don t waste your time if you haven t booked several months in advance.

Fantastic

Stayed 2019-02-12 to 2019-02-16
Stayed for five days and enjoyed it! Quiet and totally safe. We were escorted to site and offered help getting set up. We called and booked in same day- so not all full timers as posted below. They are clean and would defiantly go back. There s a shuttle to the strip- couple blocks of walking but not to serious. Easy to get in and out of. And casinos on strip have free parking.

Terrible seedy part of town not secure at all!
By user-6477545... on 2019-08-09.
Not secure! Not clean. Do not clean sites upon departure and there are rigs that appear to be here full time. Towable only! Terrible place and not cheap. Lock up your things as people out at night casing the place!

too tight
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
we had a 40 ft fifth wheel and getting to our spot was tight and when we left we ended up hitting the blue trash can because there wasn t any room for us to pull out. it was just too small for us. there was also A LOT of rules. it was almost like a retirement park or something. on the positive note: the people were super nice and the park itself was super clean and well kept.
