Not good
By user-5923098... on 2018-06-27.
KOA took over and it's not a positive change. There are actually 2 parks. If you stay do not stay in the Nellis facility! !! The Nellis park is not secure. It's open to the public to walk and drive through, day and night. Staff isn't friendly or knowledgeable about RVs. Consistently sending pull types into drive-in spaces. The only positive to this facility is clean restrooms. NEVER AGAIN.

Nice Park-NASTY Sewer Smell! Now a KOA park
By user-4731739... on 2018-06-27.
Stayed 2014-10-20 to 2014-10-27
KOA Las Vegas is no longer at Circus Circus. It has moved to Sam’s Town on Boulder Highway, Las Vegas. As of 10-22-14 the KOA signs are up, the staff in the front office are KOA and the rates have been increased to KOA levels (Sam’s Town RV Park rates were a little less).
The good:
*The staff members are all very polite and helpful. The process seems organized if you have reservations.
*The park is very clean
*Very near the Sam’s Town casino which has several eating establishments, a bowling alley, a theater and a reasonably priced buffet.
*Nice asphalt driveways with decomposed granite sites. As long as it isn’t raining this is perfect. It would be hard to get into trouble maneuvering into your site here because the driveways are wide and the angles of the sites are right for large RVs.
*Boulder Highway and nearby Henderson have virtually every shopping necessity and RV parts/repair service you could ever need. Everything is close… Costco, Walmart, Camping World, etc. The Vegas strip is about 4 or 5 miles away.
The Bad:
*The sewer hookups in this park are downright WRONG!!!! It is nasty... trust me! Slide up a door on the hookup pedestal and drop the end of your hose into a large chute alongside the neighboring sewer hose. If their hose is higher than your hose, guess what… you have their sewage on your drain hose when you pull it out of the drain “door”. There is a constant sewer gas smell in your RV and throughout the park because there is no way to seal up the connection from the sewer hoses. I’m not sure why this is OK with the health dept because they post all over the park rules about how strictly the county enforces sewer hose rules! If you are sensitive to “smells” this may not be the place for you.
*Many of the spaces are narrow. If you have slides on your RV you will have about 36 inches extra to sit outside of your RV. Be sure to ask for a site that is wide enough if you have slides on both sides.
*This isn’t a kid friendly RV park. No playgrounds or grass areas (except where the pets do their thing). Then again, this is Vegas, where it is mostly adult play.
Summary: This isn’t a bad RV park. It is quiet, clean and has so many nearby facilities. There are cheaper RV parks nearby but it is hard to beat this as far as an easy place to be. Fix the sewers and keep the rates reasonable and you have a 5.

Two parks!
By user-5830075... on 2018-06-27.
This KOA has two seperate RV parks. The north one on Boulder street is right next to and more convenient to the Sams Town Casino. They put us in the South Park on Nellis- which is a good 2 or 3 blocks from Sams Town. This RV park had decent spots with a few trees, good laundry, and a small pool with a hot tub. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the sights of the big city. Taking two stars off because of several issues: many full time residents in this park with nothing to do except walk around talking to themselves and eye you & your stuff and sit in the laundry room and watch tv. The sites are very close together. Although there is razor wire around the perimeter fence, the front entrance is not locked or gated and we did not see security at any time during our stay. We did not feel safe leaving anything outside when we were not sitting outside of our camper (chairs, table, dog fence, etc) We were not able to utilize the free shuttle that goes from Sams Town to the strip and downtown due to the walk between the two places. Many homeless in the area between this RV park and Sams Town - much worse after dark of course. We tried a uber one day and then decided to just drive our own vehicle to the strip and park at planet hollywoods free parking.

We enjoyed our stay here in Vegas. No complaints really, kinda packed in there, but the staff was friendly and showers were good.

Unhappy
By user-5807272... on 2018-06-27.
We had been staying there when Sam's Town owned it. Good rates and friendly staff. When KOA took over they told us they would honor the prices we had been charged before. We told them we were staying until January 1. They honored the first time we paid as we had to repay every two weeks. After that they charged us $40 a night. When we asked them about what they said and that they basically lied to us, the manager said yes. We moved over to Las Vegas RV Resort around the corner. Much cheaper and very nice. Very secure.

Great but expensive

Will rent even to over 10yr old RVs but are on the expensive side. Lovely park though that has great staff!

Sorry wifi
By user-5790156... on 2018-06-27.
You have to sit near the office or pool (in over 100 degree temp) to get their free wifi. Otherwise you have to pay big bucks to subscribe to a service so you can have access in your RV.

Watch for thieves.
By user-6575020... on 2018-06-27.
We traveled here in our 1998 Fleetwood Pacearrow. We paid for the rv spot for the entire week of the sema show. We had were also comped a couple of nights stay at a hotel so we left the rv here for that time so we didn't have to hassle with parking at the hotel. We checked on our rv everyday. On one of the evenings someone stole the passenger side fender flare off of the rv. It took some time to remove and someone had to have seen something. Pretty sorry individual to rob from someone on vacation.

Lack of staff knowledge
By user-5264640... on 2018-06-27.
The place was reasonably nice. The shuttle bus was lame. Only runs to the same place every few hours and stops around 9:30pm. My biggest complaint is the staff had very little knowledge of the Vegas strip. Isn't that why people come to Vegas? ? We asked about parking an rv in the downtown area. Not one of three staffers could help. We ended up parking by the high-roller farris wheel. Tons of good parking there!

Same place, double the money
By user-6249950... on 2018-06-27.
Pretty much, that says it all. The only difference is that the staff misleads you and has attitude now.

Good park
By user-6552031... on 2018-06-27.
Right next-door to the Sam’s town Casino with the free shuttle to downtown from the casino if you are a guest at the Park. Facilities were clean with good security in the park. Many scrapes on the main road going in could use a little repair there

Good rv park. Shuttle
By user-5091334... on 2018-06-27.
Everything is OK. Not a lot of space, no picnic benches but 35 min to the strip and clean restrooms and friendly staff. We stayed at nellis, the one north of the casino. There is another one south of the casino, both owned by koa. Shuttle runs 5 times a day to the strip, 6 times to fremont. Alternatively you can take the bus 202 to the strip for 2 dollars.
By user-4885026... on 2018-06-27.
The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because the sites are tight together, but I expect this from a KOA. Every-other site is staggered so that one utility pole is shared by two campers. This causes two adjacent campers' entry doors to face each other so you end up staring at your neighbors and hearing their conversations if you're sitting outside. Other than that, top notch. Very clean and maintained park. Great pool and hot tub. Walking distance to Sam's Town (the main KOA property...there's two) and Sam's Town is recently remodeled. Happy hour tickets are provided to campground guests. Free shuttle bus to the strip and downtown. Campground has 24 security including human + vehicle patrol.

Good park
By user-4821248... on 2019-08-09.
Kind of cool to be attached to a casino. We paid $41.80 a night with KOA card for 37ft backin site. No picnic tables and no grass. Sites are tight and very little shade? Beautiful pool area with hot tub and laundry facilities. Washrooms are clean. Nice staff. Good shopping...across the street from Wal-Mart and Big Lots. Casino has a nice buffet, movie theatres and bowling alley. We stayed 3 nights. WiFi was good and had cable. We didnt use the shuttle to the Strip or Freemont.
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
WiFi will not work from inside your unit. Outside only partially. Cable tv is choppy and channels freeze up.
The washrooms are very clean.
By user-4510785... on 2019-08-09.
Nice location. Friendly staff. Next to casino. Shuttle to downtown. Level sites. Sites are close to each other. Nice little dog park. Will stay there again.

Big large and very clean lots. good size shuttle to the strip 35 minutes, stops at 1035, Uber about 15-18$, do not take any sites backing onto Nellis or Boulder as extremely noisy.

Perfect way to visit Vegas with a RV
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-03-30 to 2019-04-01
Nice and spacious spots. Shuttle bus works perfect, but a visit to Sam's town is also nice. As a European I have never saw something like this before. Walmart is across the street. Everything is very clean. Lot of staff visible, gives a safe and serious feeling. Would certainly reccomend. Afcourse you hear noises, you are in Vegas baby! I liked it.

Our lot seemed spacious, graveled, several bathhouses throughout the park. Extremely nice laundry room. Has nice looking pool if that what you want. Well patrolled. Do hear street noise but doesn't bother us. Casino in walking distance. Close to shopping. Stay 3 nights 4th free. Extra charge for 3rd person.

Nice but no shade
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Restrooms are clean, pool was nice. Dog areas are small but doable. Staff friendliness is hit or miss. Guys that work around the grounds are very nice. Casino isn t a far walk and has lots of things for kids (bowling, movie theater, restaurants, mystic falls free water show) and the shuttle to the Strip is really easy. Wish there was more shade as we felt like we were just in a hot parking lot but overall it s a nice place.
