Very nice park

We stopped here on the way down to the Keys , just wanted to dry camp (holding tanks were empty...they marked directions on the map that took us to the tent area...least to say it wasn't fun backing up our 40' MH with a tow dolly ...other than that the dry camp area was nice....I would come back again.....

Worst Management

Horrible management. We stay there for 3 weeks and we were accused of having a tent right next to our RV spot and what we had was a beach umbrella that sticks to the ground. There was no way to make the manager understand that. He does whatever he wants with that place. Runs it like if it were his private place. We were treated really bad even though all the other RV people were perplexed to see that there was no reason for them to treat us like that. We saw a guy killing a rakum with a hammer and they did not do anything about it because the guy who killed it has been staying there for more than 15 years. We saw when one of the managers went to talk to this person and instead he received some gift from the rakum killer.

Nice RV park !! Horrible management !! We spent 3 weeks at the park .. We paid $ 607 Another thing I did understand, why do we have to pay for undrinkable water ? $ 33 daily !!! + 12 bicycles stolen during our stay. 21 bicycle counting by other neighbors. Nice park !!!

Pleasant place, for Miami

First, this is not a commercial campground; the staff are County employees. I'd say it is rude to expect people to open the office before they are on the clock just to accommodate an impatient camper.
The place is well maintained, with many trees. $565 monthly.

Great park, friendly residents, grumpy management.

Stayed for one night on a full hook-up site and payed $33.90.
Arrived after hours, security checked us in.
Park and amenities good. People friendly.
Wanted to leave before 9am (office open time) in the morning, so approached the office at 855am - staff went to the effort of coming to the door, unlocking it and then telling me that "they don't open until 9am" then locked the door and walked off.
Rude.

Non potable at dump station

Only non potable water at dump station. Drove 50 min out of the way to get here just to find that out.

Great price in the area

We like to have a little seperation between sites and you won't find that here. Sites are pretty tightly packed with little shade. But $34 a night for full hook up.. Plus a very nice swimming pool... Is a good buy especially in the Miami area. Its well kept and clean too.

This is a nice campground with good location to explore Miami, the keys, and everglades. I'd you are looking for activities at this campground don't come here. This is a county operated campground and there really aren't any activities. If you are looking for a decent campground with full hook ups at a low cost, this is the place. We stayed here 8 nights and were very pleased. We will likely return when possible. Three cost for 8 nights at this campground with full hook ups was about $232.

We stopped before on the rest area at tge interstate. Then decide to move. Because the interstate was to load. Then just tried to stay for one night here. We arrived at 9pm. And remark: if you just want to stay for one night you do not need a reservation. That is what the service guys said.

Even the shower and tge laundry rooms are good. So many of them are available.

Basic RV Park

Great for a nights rest or even a walk around the park. The pool is closed during the week and lake is closed until further notice. We stayed with kids so they were bummed out about the slide and pool.

Campground was ok. But, neighborhood was iffy. State correctional facility borders on property.
