Most Beautiful RV park in Lancaster County. Don't let bad reviews discourage you. Price per night shouldn't be a factor to get true Amish country setting.

This campground has a beautiful view and the sites are nice and well maintained. It does not, however, have many amenities to speak of. The dog park is extremely small and the park is not conducive to dogs. They do not allow you to have dog pens on your site nor is the dog park big enough for a large dog to get much exercise. This is the first KOA we have ever stayed at that has a no dog pen policy. If you want a lovely view and a nice level site, this is a great place. If you want a pool, great dog park etc. then I would look somewhere else.

The best view of an Amish Valley and farm lands but...not such pleasant management. The man working was very sweet but the lady not so much. Went to office to ask a question and she was very short. Went in to get a receipt for our stay and she actually said, I don't know how the KIA works. Anyways, no amenities which is fine , the view is worth the stay. Close to Intercourse and Bird in Hand for shopping and buggie ,train or helicopter rides. We stayed 4 nights and still had things we wanted to do or see that we had no time for. We will probably use them again in hopes the lady is having a better day.

| Relaxing with a View

This campground offers a great view but for some reason we could not have a camp fire. Perhaps it was the end of the year and the firepit appeared to have been recently cleaned but for $70 a night it would have been nice. Lots of rules but that's OK. All and all we had a good stay however the bath house could be improved by adding heat and replacing the push button faucets with regular ones. actually, the bath house needs to be redone and modernized. No problems with the folks running the place as they seem nice. Would like to stay there again if the bath area was more up to date with heat and air-conditioning. Maybe a little pricey for the area but not a bad campground.

| Nice Campground in Beautiful Area and Near Amish

We averaged $67 for W/E50/S/C/I with KOA discount ($74 without). This was a premium site on the edge of the campground that had a spectacular view of the rolling hills in the area. The woman in the office was very nice. The campground is on quite a steep hill and some of the paved roads are very steep. But our site was level. We stayed here to attend the WW II event at the Reading Airport that is held the first weekend of June every year. This is a spectacular event and well worth attending for those interested in WW II. We also toured the capitol and National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg only about 45 minutes away. Also very convenient to everything Amish in the area!

Disregard the old reviews about owners. New owners, 2019 season first year. Beautiful scenery, very quiet, clean. New owners very nice. All sites have full hookup. We were around $47 per night with KOA discount. Walking around the park, all the sites are level gravel with a few premium sites that also have large paver patio with nice table, chairs and umbrella. Very restful place.
