Overnight Stop

We just stayed at Lakeside RV for 1 night last week as we were driving home from Yellowstone. Overall it was a decent park for a stop over. There were a lot of mature trees that definitely provided shade in the morning before we left. As others had said, there seem to be a lot of full timers. We didn't get to use the pool but it look pretty nice. The pull thru sites are plenty long but they are at a 90° angle to the road. We would consider staying there again for an overnight stay.

NICE PARK

Stayed here in a 36' Fifthwheel. Very nice staff , lots of shade. Good WiFi and TV cable and nice pool. All in all we would certainly stay here again if in area.

No response to booking or calls

Drove a long way to get to this RV campground today. Made a reservation request with credit card details online and called all afternoon to check if availability. No one ever answered the phone, or returned messages. No response regarding online booking. On arrival park was full (they just said they had been busy, without seeming too bothered), so had to try to find something else with our very young kids late at night (for them). Looked like a nice place, but the communication was lacking. A simple answered or returned phone call would have allowed me to head elsewhere first.

We stayed here last minute and they fit us right in. Typical RV park with closer sites, but we paid $39 for full hookup. Lots of trees and right along the river, which probably accounts for the mosquitos people were complaining about. We are from MN so mosquitos are expected, that's what bug spray is for. There is a dog walking path along the perimeter of the park AND a fenced in dog park. That was so nice for our dogs who'd been in the car for days. The bathrooms were immaculate and so was the laundry room. Great park!

Great staff, great facility. Staff was very accommodating, and bent over backwards to make our stay great. Grounds were clean, pool was the perfect temperature. Also had food trucks there on the weekend, fantastic bbq on Saturday night. Will definitely book again

Great spot

And at $39 you get full hookup, a pool, excellent wifi, good Verizon, lots of shade, playground foe the kids, grass, and more. Sites are packed pretty tight but if you get a row end site it is fine.

This was once a really cool park....but it is now in the downward spiral....full time residents packed in the middle to provide a steady income stream....and the outside spaces reserved for the wayward summer campers....trash bins are over flowing, debris in the driveways, unreturned reservation conformations, chaos at check in.....but a potentially pleasant place or at least it once was....sorry but a one night stay only.

Tucked in by the Provo running trail, this place is great. It's shady unlike the city park nearby, small locally owned nice people, clean, great showers, access straight to I-15 via provo center street access. Highly recommend it.

Not a bad place. Looks there a quite a few permanent residents, but the place is quiet. Good free internet signal and cable. We stopped by in winter so it looked a little bleak, but there are plenty of trees so it would be shady in the summer.

Provo, UT – Lakeside RV
We stayed at this campground for a week in June 2018 as a base for different places we wanted to visit. All the RV sites are pull through with every other one facing one way and the others facing the opposite direction. This meant that your door sides faced each other and you had to share the small patch of grass between sites. We found that uncomfortable. The campground is well maintained on a road that is not very loud but the Provo airport is quite close. The office staff was OK. Laundry room was small but clean, 5 washers and 6 dryers, costs $2.00 wash and 3.50 dryer. Site pads are gravel. We had FHU, 50 amp, cable/dish TV and WiFi, although the WiFi was weak. We were in site G3, which was very level. People came and left frequently but there are some that appear to be full-timers (well maintained). The pool was busy with kids. Within walking distance is a Utah State Park and also a nice walking trail just outside of the SP.

A nice place to stay for a couple of days. Some permanent residents but all seemed ok. Pull through sites are nice if you have a large rig like we do. Front office people were very responsive and helpful. Didn't get a chance to get in the pool but it looked clean. Laundry facility looked good also. You can ride your bikes into the lake campground. 2$ per person. Expect a lot of mosquitos. All in all a good stop for us.

Beautiful park. Lots of trees and level spots. Within 3 miles of Walmart and other shopping. Would’ve given 5 stars except that they advertised WiFi at each spot. We can sign on our iPads and phones but it just keeps searching so I’m using my cell service data to post this. We booked a week expecting to use their WiFi. I wish I could find a campground that is honest about their WiFi “yeah, we have it, but it’s not strong enough for anyone so you’ll need your own data”

We spent 4 nights with full hookups. $175. Short narrow sites w/ elec too far forward so we should have pulled our 5th wheel more forward and blocked the road while we unhitched?? (as explained on day 3 by guy that mows and Loves his grass!) We barely had room to park sideways. Very few open sites. Quiet but for occasional airplane.

No reservation, holiday weekend and they had a spot for us.

Beautiful setting. Nestled amongst Cottonwood trees. The only downside is that the sites pads are shared driver side to driver side. If both people have their slides out there is only about 3 feet distance between slides. I didn t feel this was a problem because we are only on that side of the coach to set up electric and water. The passenger side opens to a really nice grassy area under the trees. It s really pretty here. Would definitely stay again. We are in a 34 motor coach.

We are here for 4 days. Park is clean and staff is friendly. There is several antique signs and art deco right next door. So cool. There is an airport across the road but I haven't heard any loud planes. They have a huge swimming pool and are not far from town. They take Good sams discounts. It was recommended to us by some FMCA members. So glad we listened to them.
