This was a stop on our 17 state journey, so just stayed one night. Level, woody, which means no grass, so mostly gravel/dirt, spacing is pretty close. Bathroom/shower nice, and clean. Good laundry facility. We like to stay on water, or at least have a view of the water. We could see the “lake” from our site and walk to it in about 30 seconds. Lots of things for kids to do. Nice pool. Good location for the small towns on the Eastern Shores of Virginia. Right off the main road.
Huge spots and very nice water fountain on the lake. Great for a few days. Nice folks. We are in a Class A motorhome with 3slide outs and a tow.
Hidden family campground off Rt 13. Handed down in family current owner runs this campground with pride and in memory of her father. True family business. Sites are wooded with plenty of shade. Gravel parking. Center piece is large pond/lake with fountain edges are kept clean for sitting and fishing. Water sports equipment like paddle boats for rent. Some seasonal sites kept in rear. Overall a nice place. Cons, satellite TV is rear with trees. Overair is limited. Sites are a little small but ok for big rigs. (like most campgrounds).
