It gets packed on weekends. Campsites for tents are big but theres a ton of noise. Portapotties available.

Great camp grounds. Big sites with great view. Not alot of hiking from camp sites. Lake access but no swimming beach. GOOD TV reception.

Better every time we visit. When it is busy and developed sites are full shoreline camping for $12 is a good option. Great views from several sites. We camped on a hill considered shoreline with an awesome view! We will be back. During the week.

What a great place!

We stayed here for just 1 night. But man what a great place this is! Just go down the boat ramp at the end and drive down untill you find the extra 'hidden' parking lot. It's directly near the water and very quiet and peaceful. Heaven on earth!

Plenty of room for a 42 5th wheel. It was VERY quiet in mid December but reservations can be difficult in Fall and Spring and REALLY hard in the summer. Good hiking nearby. Beautiful views. Would stay here every weekend if I could.

CAMPGROUND: Nice gravel lots with covered concrete picnic table. View at every site. Hilly terrain makes the sites unleveled so bring your ramps. All types of camping with or without electricity. Our spot was lakeside so midge flys were pesky. Quiet night. Great view. Restroom building in our area was dirty the day we arrived so we didn t use them. Still dirty second day. Separate showers rooms. ADA accessible. Old.
Park wide burn ban so no fires or BBQ. No laundry.
PARK: Huge! Discovery center at top of mountain overlooking dam and Reservoir/lake. Nice exhibits and video of Sonoran Desert through the year. HUGE fish in lake. Miles of hiking/biking trails, boating marina, floating restaurant. Kayak and jet ski rentals, Awesome new kids park being constructed.
*It s the desert so pay attention to the weather forecasts and vegetation. Poisonous snakes And lizards, lots of wildlife and wild burros.
