Nice park with nearby golf course and fairly close to downtown Fredricksburg. The big problem was the mud at our site. The sites are paved but the entrance to each site is dirt and ours was nothing but a muddy mess. Need to put gravel down.

My Favorite Park in the Hill Country

This park was awesome and had so much to do. We stayed over Thanksgiving week and had plenty to do. There is a pool, tennis courts, nature trails, baseball, volleyball, and basketball. There is also a golf course across the creek. I loved the pollination garden. Everyone who worked there was very friendly. Close to main street in Fredericksburg.

Many spaces are designed to have you back in up to someone who has backed in from the other direction. I saw some people take up more than their share! Nice park next to a small plane airport. Just check where their putting you.

This park is within close driving distance to Main Street in Fredericksburg. It's not close enough to walk, but it is a short (5 or 10 min?) drive.
The only real downside to this park is that a large number of the RV spots are close together and they are very small. The internal sites are actually the kind where one RV's back bumper is inches away from another RV's back bumper. If you have a larger camper, definitely check the map and reserve a larger site. We had one of the larger sites, which allowed us to fit our truck and trailer in the site, but many had their trucks squeezed in on the side.
Otherwise, this place was perfect. It was clean. The restrooms were clean. Temperatures in Fredericksburg were in the 40s when we were there, and the restrooms were heated.
Other campers were there and enjoying the campground, but they were not loud and obnoxious. We did not hear any partying or loud campfire conversations. I was really surprised at how quiet it was considering how everyone was in close proximity. We did hear the planes at the nearby airport, but it didn't keep us up at night.
We plan to return.

This is a nice park, and we intend to stay here again. The only downside is that most of the sites are small. Check a park map before booking if you have a camper over 30' long.
The internal sites are bumper to bumper.
We had a larger site, and it was nice. There was room to park our camper and truck on the pad. We had to level just a small bit from side to side--not much.
The campsite had an asphalt pad and a picnic table on the grass. Water, electric, sewer, cable, and internet. We didn't use the cable, but the internet was adequate for checking email and facebook on the computer. We didn't attempt to stream movies.
We had no issues with any of the utilities.
We did use the restrooms closest to our site. They were clean and heated since it was in the 40s outside.
In spite of campsites being closer together, it wasn't a noisy park at all. It seems that, like us, people were there to relax and enjoy Fredericksburg. There was no partying or anything of the sort. There were usual campground sounds, but nothing that would bother the average person. People walked their dogs and played with their kids on the playground. Its a very good place for families and couples.
There is an airport nearby. We heard planes coming and going, but it didn't keep us up at night. It is not walking distance to Main Street in Fredericksburg, but it is a short drive (5-10 min).
There is a Walmart and an HEB nearby if you forget something.
Park is clean and very well maintained.
A prior camper lost something and it was left on our site (it was under our camper and we didn't notice). Park staff took time to call us, and likely the people there before us, to locate the owner. They certainly didn't have to do this, and I thought it was very kind of them.

We were here 19 days, loved everything about the park but sitting end to end with another RV. The bathhouse was cleaned, trash picked up 2 times a week and mowed at least once a week.
