| Nice campground in the forest

By user-5254174... on 2017-10-23.

Nice campsite in the forest about 45 minutes outside of Bend. We stayed in the North Loop which had the most privacy between sites but also much smaller sites. It took us awhile to back out 5th-wheeler into a very narrow space in the trees. Overall we loved our stay here. Lots of kids to play with, hot showers, and a really nice big trail system to explore. Again, it's really in the trees so it feels very nice and forested. The sites were very dusty and at some points there were definitely bees around. Cell reception is not great. We usually had one bar or less on Verizon.

Stayed in the Old North loop. Old plumbing and electrical. Dusty sites and very poor paved road. Nice shower and hiking, biking trails. Poor Verizon cell. The middle and south loops are more modern and nice.

| Nice spot in the woods

Stayed here one night - all but south loop closed. Sites are large, well-paved and level. Nice bathrooms, hot showers. Had electricity but the water had already been turned off for the season. However, there was one site available to all to pull through and fill the tank. The campground map was a bit deceiving as we thought that the river was next to the camp sites. Well, it is. It’s just down a canyon at the edge of the south loop. Lol Overall, a nice stop on our way south. We stayed in a 29 ft motor home.
