| Open Year Round!!!

We stayed for two nights in early December of 2016. It was one of only four campgrounds open year round within a one hour drive of Lehigh Valley, PA. It was quiet and not very busy. You could tell it was hunting season from the dear hanging from the swing set. The roads are gravel and have some potholes that are avoidable for the most part. There were a lot of trees, but we were able to get our 40' 5th wheel parked in the pull-through grass campsite without a problem. Some campsites had a picnic tables. There was a play area and it also had a pool. It was closed for the winter, so we cannot comment on the pool. There are dumpsters on site. There are no sewer connections at the campsites, but there is a centrally located, back-in dump station. They also offer Propane for purchase. Others have posted reviews on other sites stating that it was confusing because you drove through a "utility lot" (which you do), but the campground gives you a map and it is easy to find your spot with the map they provide when you check in. We would stay here again off season. We were grateful they were open in early December and we gave it a chance, even with the other reviews. We did not use the restrooms, so we cannot comment on them. They are pet-friendly as we have indoor cats and a neighbor had a dog.

Stayed one night to see if we would like this place. It was probably the most expensive place we stayed. They charge by the person. We tent camp all the time, average is 40-48 for water and electric,we wee charged 72.00 for just the site, no water or electric. This was a Primitive site. In other places, they go for 20-30 a night. We were charged 19.50 per person, 8 dollars each for children. We were three adults and one child plus tax) Place was run down. Pool was clear but had tree debris in it. Lot of bugs in your face til the sun went down. Plenty of wood around for a fire. Sleeping at night was noisy between the trains and 78 traffic which you could hear. Overall, we wanted to try it for the night and we will not go there again. Now I know why they didn't post their rates on the website.

Not the most attractive campsite but completely functional. It appears to be mostly weekenders leaving RV s there. Folks in the office were very nice. Bathrooms were very clean and modern.
