I had a hard time finding this park to review but this is actually the Interstate 40 Grand Canyon RV Park. Although apprehensive to stay here due to some reviews on other sites I am so glad we chose to stay here. All of the reviews on other sites seem to be prior to the new management taking over. We really enjoyed ourselves and the campground seems to be up and coming. Many of the RV sites each have rustic stone patios and fire pits. Really cool since the area is known for it's Flagstone. The facilities are really clean and well maintained. There is a pool that they are apparently renovating for the summer (we stayed in winter, so we didn’t miss it). They are definitely making a lot of changes and improvements and work hard to make sure they are hosting happy campers. We will definitely stay here again when in the Ash Fork area!
This park has No septic, No laundromat...and is in trapping RV by collecting payment before notifying Campers they have to drive 20 miles to dump... the owner lives in California and has a law suit pending... The old managers have nothing to do with the park or how it is ran at this time they can be contacted and all complaints about the park or slander towards them can be addressed and directed to there Attorney....please direct all questions & complaints to bmather120155@gmail.com
This RV campground was a disappointment from the time we drove in and as we looked around more closely more negatives were revealed. Although there appears to be an effort to upgrade sites and some fencing, $33/ night for Good Sam participants was extraordinarily high. Laundry: closed on Sunday. washers from $1.25-$2.50 ? Why? Dryers: 6 of the 10 were out of order. A user stated that they are always breaking down. WI-FI is only available when parked in sites next to the office facing the septic dump. Showers cost $2.25 in small tired stalls. I-40 route noise is constant.. Sad for a campsite in AZ.
