Right on the water but not that clean and tidy. We stayed here in a 37' MH. Back in site with lots of room. Elec and water only but free cable TV with 100's of channels. Small store on site. $40 a night and we got the last vacant spot. Ferry to the National Wildlife Refuge leaves from right outside the park. Good fishing I hear.

Stayed here a month and don't want to leave. Have made reservations for next year only for 2 months. Made new friends. Pump out for $15 is better than full hook up. Rates are very reasonable. This place is a diamond in the rough and I hope they never polish it.

I have been traveling the Gulf Coast beaches with my dog in a van. There were plenty of sites that were shaded which was great because I didn't hv AC.
Jody & Aunt Betty were so sweet and accomadating. I made friends and had a blast ! It is an older campground , but just so great ! I really never wanted to leave. Beautiful beach just a short walk away and dogs are allowed on the beach. Big plus for us.

We are booked for 3 weeks, we are half way through our time here. Wish we could stay longer. We are booked for next year. This is truly like going back in time, the Forgotten Coast. We love the old Florida feel. People are so friendly. We are enjoying all the quaint little towns and beautiful beaches. Looking forward to the rest of our stay here. Clean and well kept.

This campground is an amazing find but not for everyone. The fact that all spaces are only a quick walk to a beautiful dog friendly beach makes the place for us, the dogs had a blast! The sites are rough and somewhat uneven but very doable for our 30 travel trailer. Amenities are nothing to speak of and it doesn t offer full hook ups, but camp site pump out service for a reasonable fee was a good compromise. The cable was still out from hurricane Michael but that didn t bother us since we came for sun and fun. Restaurants and night life are at least 8 to 15 miles away, especially since the storm took out many businesses. We did not use the bath or laundry but were told they were nice. Everyone was quite friendly and we had a great time. They fill up fast so plan well in advance, especially if you want a beach front site.

Great old FL style campground. Dog friendly beach. Serious fishing. Little ferry that runs across bay. Patched together after Hurricane Michael so get open early. No WiFi.
