We stayed overnight ... had great setup
Very convenient to downtown but safe and clean.
Shower house was clean and showers w/ hot water
All we needed and only $20 for full hookups.

Great Stop

Just needed an overnight stop and this was ideal. Sites are varied and you have a a choice of grass or pavement. Many sites available, restroom were ok and hookups were good. Very quite. We would definitely stay here again, oh so much better than Wal-Mart. Price much better than most at $20/nite.

Well maintained grounds. Very nice hosts and security patrols. Level sites. 50amp sites are in a parking lot. 30amp are in a grassy area. Tight sites. Restrooms were filthy, not cleaned once in the five nites we stayed here (and not likely cleaned in the 5 months prior to our stay). Surprising that the State would allow such a mess.

Good Location & Price

Park is conveniently located within a few miles of the Lincoln Museum. Camp host could not be more friendly and helpful. Price with senior discount $20/night. Mix of 30/50 amp W & E, some with sewer (sewer connections will require hose extensions), dump station is available. Satellite friendly and good WiFi. Sites are easily accessible but very tight.
This is one of the better fairgrounds we've stayed at. We camped in a a 34' motorhome and would stay again.

Nice campground

Stayed here 9/ 24 - 9/27/2015. Nice camping area with very nice and friendly people. Campground host went out of their way to make see that we had ice and trash can nearby. Security patroled on a regular basis. Felt welcome and very safe. Had full hookups. Will definitely stay here again

Good for overnight stay

Needed a place to plug in for the night. Off season electric on(water off til 4/1). Peak season has some sewer sites. Dump station available. Restrooms open year round. Safe. Security very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

Nice place

We were just passing through Springfield and needed a place for the night. This place was great! 30 and 50 amp. Some sites had full hookup; others water and elec only. 300 sites to choose from. Very neat and quiet in September but I bet it's crazy during state fair. Highly recommend.

Grassy area, $20 , restrooms in need of repairs and cleaning, but it was alright.
