Home for Houston
By user-1364009 on 2017-10-23.
what is there to complain about. they should have named it heaven in Houston East. the first time we visited everything was done quickly in the office by very courteous personnel. the next time we visited was a late arrival . we called ahead and we got everything set up very quickly and was ready when we got there. all we had to do was go inside and get a receipt the next morning. every site is level with cement pad. paved roads, swimming pool, laundry and ice . they even have propane refill. and don't forget easy in easy out pull throughs . and all had a good price. we are goodsam elite members and pull travel trailer.

Good but LOUD
By user-6495712... on 2017-10-23.
$39 for full hookup, one night. This included the Goodsam discount. Staff was friendly and checkin was fast and effient. Complimentary water and coozies were provided. This park has most amenities for a good park. A good place to stop for for westbounders who dont want to get caught in evening rush hour traffic can stay here and set off early next morning to beat the morning rush hour.
This was the loudest park I have ever experienced. It just was. I did not lose any sleep because of it. It isn't a place I would stay for a few days for relaxation. Its a good place to stop so I dont get stuck in evening rush hour, period.

Adorable campground with beautiful pull through sites, a very nice pool, and a charming gazebo with BBQ grill. There were a lot of nice grass at each site and trees. The bathrooms were hands down the nicest I have ever seen in a campsite! It was convenient to I-10 so there was some road noise but all in all a wonderful place to spend the night!

Awesome Overnight

On our way from MI to Mission TX by way of the Natchez Trace and Betty's RV park, this was a convenient stop. We basically picked it by mileage but we are happy campers. They we ready for us with a park map detailed in sharpie showing the way to our site and the widest path out of the park. The staff was very professional yet still warm and friendly. They were quick to tell us when to avoid Houston's worst morning traffic, and the ziploc of ice and the 2 cold bottled waters in cozies were a nice and surprising touch. The pull thru was big enough for our 32 ft class c and Jeep toad. Shady trees trimmed nicely. We wanted to grill dinner, and saw that they had a grill under an arbor by the pool. It worked great and so we didn't have to unpack ours. They even had a table and chairs so you could sit down while you waited for your stuff to cook. Our RV shower is full of flowering plants, so we used theirs. Tiny, sure, but the Taj-Mahal of campground showers. Pretty tile, all the heat and pressure you could want, SUPER clean, and NO, you don't have to press a button every 15 seconds. The dog walk along the edge had stations with bags and was adjacent to a large grassy field. Maybe not the cheapest at $39.50 inc. the GS discount, but they sure made us feel like we got our money's worth. FHU. Didn't use the pool but it looked clean. Didn't use the CC operated laundry or the inc. cable. Noisy right next to I-10, but that's what made it so convenient for us. I'm sure sites farther back are quieter. Great stop. A real class act!

A Worker's Campground
By user-5893442... on 2017-10-23.
This park is good for an overnight but I would not hope for a longer stay. The pull-thru sites are not very long. We were only able to park our Jeep behind our rig because we had it disconnected, and even then it barely fit. The office staff were friendly and efficient. The facilities were clean. The pool was nice. The sites were close together and no patio space, plus the turns were tight. It also appeared to be a worker's campground, as there were a lot of TX plates and work trucks. We also happened to be the only Class A in the park. On the upside, we did get a 15% discount for being military, which was better than the Good Sam discount.

Great place to stay!
By user-5240040... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed here for only one night. It was lovely. Beautiful lots and dog friendly. Yes it was a little loud from the highway but we used the air conditioning so not a problem for us. We would stay here again.

Like Sleeping in truck stop
By user-6212686... on 2017-10-23.
Paid $35 to have our rig in row A which is nearest and almost right on I-10. Was one of the noisiest RV parks we have ever stayed at. If you are looking for a good night's sleep, this is not the place.

Right off I10 so convenient when traveling through Houston. The staff is very friendly and provided extra little touches like two free bottles of water and a bag of ice. This campground has some of the nicest bathrooms we have seen but it is noisy due to the proximity to I10.

Good all around
By user-4997870... on 2018-07-06.
This was an easy on and off i10 location. We stayed 2 nights. Large concrete sites with grass between, some lots have shade. Full hook up. At check in they gave us cold bottles of water and took us to our site. Gated and safe. Small but nice pool. Didn't use any of the other facilities. We stayed here and drove to Galveston for the day. The staff is super friendly and I highly recommend staying here. $39 night. We are traveling in a 40ft bus towing a jeep.

We only were here one night. Nice clean well kept park off I10. But road noise was one of the worst we've experienced including our rest stop overnight stays.

This resort has the best first impression EVER. We were greeted with complimentary water and ice including bottle cosies. Once registered we were escorted to our site and then the customer service rep wiped down our electrical stand, the light on top and then wiped off the sewer cap and opened it for us. She stayed until we were pulled into the site and made sure we were pleased with the location. Absolutely top notch customer service. The only drawback was the road noise from I10. Nice dog walk area too that was fairly clean but that would be the fault of dog owners not the park. Doggie dodo stations were available. The bathrooms were clean and updated. Good water pressure for showers. E
