I have lived here for almost 17 yrs. Our POA dues keep going up. They are $45/mo now. I am single and only use 1 notch on my water each month. That costs me $137/mo. and that will only get higher. Many people such as me are on SSDI. I just tried to call the Clubhouse, and it rang about 15 times. To her credit, she DID call me back. There are no storage buildings available and they cost $35/mo. They can't tell me the size of one if one came available. I knew that this was the wrong place for me by 6/2000. My salesman was an older guy who forgot to send me the papers home that I could have re-read and backed out of buying the lot. He later sent them and admitted on the manila envelope that he forgot to send them w me. I think that was intentional on his part. He had already been fired by the time my MH was in place. I live in an 18'x76' MH...not an RV. His name was Tom A., I believe.I don't swim, but the pool is usually closed. I COULD have used the hot tube for my many chronic pain issues. That was never installed. I mainly like the new electronic gates and the fact that no one buys the lots around me. The restrictions say that anyone in an RV has to temporarily live elsewhere. My now deceased elderly neighbors followed that rule and went to S. TX for the winter. Many people live here permanently in RVs. Dogs are supposed to be kept inside a fence, in one's house, or on a leash. That rule is not followed by many people. I adhere to it with my dog. The street that I live on has already been fixed with new asphalt. They pick cheap labor, so it's already got potholes again. I will pay my "AMA" POA dues and always have. Road fees another $180/yr? I am broke. This place is too expensive to live at!
